This is a thing that happens a lot with Troons and it's the worst thing: The Troon Orbiters. See, it's all a virtue signal. There are people who honestly think if they talk about how "cute" a troon is and validate them then it makes them a good person, even if that troon isn't even real. Case in point there being the character Ladiva from Granblue Fantasy. Whenever he shows up in a Versus stream, the chat immediately fills with people squeeling over how Ladiva is best girl and how hot she is and so on. Meanwhile it also fills with people going "Uhh...what? IS that a girl?" and if you answer honestly with "Not physically, no." you get banned by SOMEONE even though that's the truth (Ladiva is physically male and loves it. Technically I'm pretty sure they're just a flamboyantly gay man being awkwardly translated). That's double frustrating because it has lead some people to think that Ladiva's race is like (some) dwarves where you can't really tell the men and women apart when the reality is the EXTREME opposite (men are 7 foot tall piles of muscle, women are 4.5 feet tall shortstacks with tits the size of their head. That's the joke. Ladiva CANNOT pass for female).
TL;DR
This happens every time with a troon. There's an entire subset of people who believe fawning over troons and giving them ALL the asspats makes them a good person. No wonder people troon out!
HAVIN' A GOOD GENDER TIME! THAT'S a sentance that makes sense and is full of logic! Personally, I used to get kinda gender pissed about this shit but now I'm just kinda gender worn-out. Fuck me this is turning into The Smurfs. "I'm having such a gendery day, Papa Gender! I think I'm gonna make a gender berry pie!"
