As an amateur Bobologist, I don't think Cinematic Blob will ever troon out. His sense of identity is tied to a laughable idea that he's some sort of supreme gentleman superior male specimen, and his ego is shockingly resilient despite his constant humiliations. If Lindsay Ellis publicly reading him the riot act didn't start the slide towards troondom, I don't think anything will. Dobson on the other hand I could definitely see trooning out. He already pretended to be a true and honest wahman to do fetish art commissions, and has serious issues with men and masculinity. The only real argument against it is that it hasn't already happened. With how irrelevant he's become it, seems like the perfect time to do it to get back into the public eye.
Movie Blob won't troon out because he is stuck in the year 1998 in Highschool. His mental state has not advanced enough to even consider anything new. He's stuck in that he's superior to all the 'bullies' and is 'super smart'. Basically freshman level high school student who gets his ass kicked constantly. He won't troon out because it didn't exist in 1998. His life revolves around super mario and trying to be the cool kids. Cutting your dick off doesn't fit his psychology.

A lot of times this is basically people who cannot accept an identity and refuse to look at themselves, so their identity is constantly in flux. He absolutely hates his life, clearly does not enjoy videogames, moved to one of the most uneducated, non-progressive states in the union and doesn't have a fixed identity. This causes his identity to be in constant flux, with very little acceptance. Troons are hugely accepted in his community so he wants the same thing. Here he can be 'accepted'. The problem is, nobody really accepts troons. I don't give a fuck what people say. They're greatly disliked and eventually completely isolated because they are troons for acceptance only, not a legitimate identity.
This is where trans trenders come in and why so many people troon out. As for why videogames and anime? A lot of these people don't actually like videogames and anime. They're also incredibly insecure about these hobbies and are embarrassed. They want acceptance more than anything else, they cannot stand not being accepted or mocked. So when people go to me 'lol weeb' I say, "yes, I'm a fucking weeb. So what?" They just stare. You take that insult and make it your armor. "HAHHA LOL ITS JUST A SHIT POWER FANTASY LOL" "I'm enjoying my power fantasy. You on the other hand look like a fucking bitter spinster and don't even enjoy anything. I'm going to go enjoy this. You keep being a bitter whiner." There's just little retort if you embrace it and turn it against them, because people don't know how to react.
Functionally these people just hop on these bandwagons and are embarrassed because videogames and anime became popular and they never really cared for them. Like Jim here likes wrestling way more except nobody gives a fuck about his wrestling so he had to stick with games and just became more and more unhinged and miserable. He became extremely embarrassed about it and insecure. This first expressed itself in manchild shit, which just added to his insecurity. When he was at risk of being completely rejected, he trooned out to defend himself from any criticism and to 'fit in'. The problem is that this isn't true gender dysphoria, its a fake adopted identity out of massive insecurity. This will only lead to more misery. Its why a lot of troons blow their fucking brains out, because they're not dysmorphic and are looking for this 'cure' for insecurity but it never happens.
Fact is, they're constantly pretending to like things they hate. They're embarrassed about what they really like and don't defend it. This insecurity builds and they go to an identity that they think will have universal acceptance, but is only tolerated minorly, even by progressives. Nobody actually believes this fat fuck will ever be a woman. Or 90% of trans even. I've seen drag queens and feminine men pass 1000% better than nearly every troon. And that's without hormones and surgery. This only leads to MORE insecurity.
The trans movement is a bunch of extremely insecure, damaged individuals who are being conned that this is the way to easy acceptance, when most people find them insecure, overly sensitive and repugnant. And it leads to this cycle of them being isolated again. And since being trans involves surgery, meds and a lot of things you can't take back, you ruin yourself for life. This is basically what Jim is doing. He is completely insecure and thinks this will make him accepted. In reality, he never will be. Only in the most facile and surface ways out of 'politeness'.
Gender Dysphoria is real and its a fucking mental illness. Taking it out of the DSM was a huge mistake and damaged people are trooning out and ruining their lives over it. But since trans is a MAJOR industry for pharmacutics and medicine, nobody really gives a shit. They're always looking for patients for life and there's nothing that makes a patient for life than completely fucking up your body.
