Most people who employ it tend to do it in defense of left-wingers or or other types of social liberal to deflect from their terribleness, thus exposing their bias while pretending to be impartial.

Or, dig this; it could be that there are a fair amount of people out there that are independents that don't subscribe to a side but only want the best for everyone. I know it's crazy to believe that there are people out there that don't give a fuck who gets married to whom, doesn't have an opinion about religion other than "Keep it out of government mandate and we're good", want to have their guns, want a woman to have a choice to abortion as much as they want an even playing field for men in courts during a custody hearing, Want border security, but also want a a reform of immigration to make legal immigration easier.
There also can't be people that see the bullshit unfolding and think "Wow, this entire thing is fucking stupid and I want it off my front lawn".

God dammit, instead of liking things and hating things from both sides, you need to pick one and champion it, even if some of their stances disgust you! Get in line soldier! 11Alive has learned that one of them, Christopher Stanton Georgia, has since died. The Fulton County Medical Examiner said his cause of death is suicide. They said he had a gunshot wound to the chest.

An Alpharetta Police report shows Georgia died at his home on Saturday.

The report shows officers removed two rifles from his home and listed his death as "under investigation."

Georgia is understood to have worked as a regional portfolio manager at BB&T, a banking company based in North Carolina.

Family members at the scene were described as "extremely distressed" in the report.

Georgia had been charged with attempting to "enter certain property, that is, the United States Capitol Grounds, against the will of the United States Capitol Police," prior to his death.

Court documents, obtained by the outlet, show that Georgia stayed out past the 6pm citywide curfew after officers told them to leave around 7.15pm.

Georgia faced a maximum penalty of up to 180 days in jail and/or a $1,000 fine.
