Nothing I have seen so far has given me the impression that this shit is going to deescalate in any capacity.

Rather, this is merely the prelude to even more insane shit. No matter what happens, the entire country will be completely transformed starting with this event.
 
National guard better do something useful. As someone else mentioned, I'm also a centrist in a deep red state too and I've been observing this stuff in real life and online. It feels out of the blue but yet completely expected.
 
National Guard? I think that will probably be the end of this. The protesters will disperse when they find out that Daddy Donald isn't on their side.

Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.
