The repetition in Phil's life may make him boring a lot of the time, but it's also the reason he's so entertaining in the few moments where something disruptive and unexpected (sometimes for him, sometimes for everyone) happens.

Take the DansGaming incident, for example. If Phil didn't hate a difference in his daily life with such a fiery passion, would that have been fun for us? No. If he was used to getting banned from Twitch, would the Superhound saga have been as interesting? Not really. Neither one of those things were anticipated by us, let alone Phil, but regardless of that, because of how much he despises it when something shakes things up, even if it's fucking money in his pocket, it becomes an awesome moment in the DSP universe.

So I say bring on the boring repetition. Be the guy who WANTS the movie Groundhog Day to happen to him, Phil, literally. I encourage it, because it just makes it all the sweeter when you get confronted, yet again, by the fact that reality doesn't work that way. Feel free to learn nothing from it, as well. Can't have you anticipating SH getting back on his anime supervillain bullshit, after all. Get nice and comfortable, so we can laugh even harder by how flustered and blindsided you will inevitably be.

Same here, it's either detractor restreams where the detractor also interacts with the chat, like I mentioned in the Christmas Marathon thread, or it's videos like Snort Burnell's where it's just a 10 minute version of the few funny things Dave said in that stream.
Also, one thing I can't forget is to give big ups to @Surly Muppetfor his great short write-ups of certain streams in this thread. He has to have the patience of a Saint and the focus of a Shaolin monk if he can handle watching raw Dave and not have his attention meander off to something else from how boring Dave is.

Is there more than just 1 Sub-goal that Phil owes his stream currently? I keep hearing about him owing them a Viewer's Choice playthrough of. . .is it Divinity: Original Sin 2?

Is he up to date on all the other Sub-goals besides that though? I remember at the end of 2018 he had been doing double Sub-goals each month and ended up owing his stream like half-a-dozen events that he hadn't done and had to scramble and do a bunch of lame events and pretend like that bullshit counted. He ended up pretending like regular streams that he does every year were Sub-goal fulfillment events.
 
I don't know, but considering the fact that Phil says people badgered him to play Scrat's Nutty Adventure for over a year and he only played it for something easy-going for his joke of a marathon, color me doubtful he gives more of a fuck about anything he has been paid upfront to do. If anything, he feels LESS motivated there.
 
So what are some of your favourite TIHYDPs, guys? I just finished the Need for Speed: Payback TIHYDP and he was frothing at the mouth raging for like 75% of the game, saying how terrible it was, but still kept playing. Was very entertaining.

His Souls ones are all pretty entertaining. Watching the Demon's Souls remake one currently and it's pure gold.

The 3D era GTAs. Along with the classic Dave rage another thing I loved was that he was so delusional he thought that all the missions were 100% scripted (as in down to the cars that would spawn on certain sections of the road) so he thought a valid complaint was "YOU SEE THE LAST TIME I PLAYED THIS MISSION THAT FAHKING KHAR RAMMED INTO ME BUT THIS TIME IT DIDN'T SPAWN! SO BHAGGY DOOD"! Another way he was completely delusional was when he thought the AI was programmed to make cars specifically ram into HIM, how did he reach that conclusion? After he drove on the wrong side of the road for like 85% of his time spent on the road and kept being surprised that the cars drove into his direction. As a cherry on the top of the shit sundae, I think in San Andreas he was tired of driving to and from missions and said "THESE GAMES ARE CALLED GRAND THEFT AUTO NOT GRAND DRIVE AUTO!"
 
Even I'm shocked by the stupidity of that statement. I mean, for starters, kind of hard to steal a car without driving it away. Second, that clearly isn't the only kind of crime you commit while playing the game. Third, why would you not want to drive cars around in a video game? Fourth, how else would you get around so you can do missions at different locations? Run? Yeah, because Phil wouldn't bitch about that. Fifth, you just know that his real complaint is that the game doesn't just warp you around so it's less work on your part.

Phil, if you weren't so fucking lazy, that would eliminate easily 50% of the utterly retarded things you say that make an ass out of you.

Even dumber because GTA is like half racing game, that's why every game literally has racing missions and that's why the programmers make sure the driving feels good. Like 90% of GTA is driving, even if you ignore that the word Auto is in the name. Maybe DSP is so dumb he thought that meant automatic like a gun.
 
Why does Phil always drive in the wrong lane in games? You'd think he'd know to drive in the right lane since he wrecked his car in real life by driving in the wrong lane.

My favorite is him driving down the wrong lane, slamming in to an oncoming car that a blind person could have seen coming, and then yells "It's spawning cars in front of me!"
 
The 3D GTA TIHYDPs are pretty great, but even the GTA 5 TIHYDP is a masterclass in how to be a fucking dipshit idiot. Especially enlightening is the infamous "torture mission", By The Book, where Trevor has the ability to perform various tortures on a subject, including waterboarding and pulling teeth.

This was clearly a mission with a clear and specific social message. Trevor makes it explicit at the end of the mission. "We didn't get ANY information out of you, did we? Torture is for the torturer! We should just all admit that!" And remember, DSP hates games with social messages, he hates games that shove socially-aware commentary in your face, he hates all that shit.

But in By The Book he goes fucking apeshit. He goes HAM. He absolutely fucking revels and delights in the torture, he doesn't skip a second of it, and he doesn't have a single thing to say about the social value of approaching the mission one way or another. It's absolutely horrifying. It's a small sample of how Phil would act if he ever had any power over anyone.

And Phil is full of shit about that, he doesn't even notice social messages unless they've been pointed out to him. Otherwise they go right over his oddly-shaped head.

There is also a scene in The Walking Dead where Clementine has to stich up a massive wound in her arm after a dog bit her,in that scene she is doing it without any type of anesthesia and she is clearly in pain and all the while she is stiching her arm and in pain Phil is having the time of his life, it really shows how fucked up and ugly his personality his, he rebels in the pain and suffering of others, thank god he is too retarded to be in a position of power over anyone because this instances shows how much of a psycopath he is.

Look at after 6:03 if the timestamp doesn't work, he enjoys other people pain, disgusting. Also peroxide does burn you fucking retard. He is seal laughing and ack ack acking as clementine screams in pain.
