Usually legit boomers (60s-70s). Its hilarious how phil identifies more with that crowd than people his age. Probably because it's low-effort, whereas there's people phil's age that can still be competitive with young adults.

You know, I didn't even watch his begathon, but lately I've been understanding more why people say that Phil is a lolcow that produces way less content for the farms than other cows who don't have an entire board dedicated to them.

It's just so repetitive when it comes to Phil. Except for big happenings like the bankruptcy or the WWE Champions findings, his daily life is like a fucking loop. Always the same begging and lies, always the same 80% of his tips coming from less than 10 people, always his shitty talent as an entertainer even after all these years. I can't fathom being one of those "ironic fans" of his that are on his chat every day to watch his bullshit. I'd feel like I'm in a fucking mental prison.

Do you all ever get tired of Phil? And I don't mean in the way of "I'm too invested and MATI", just that you look and think "Jesus Christ, when will something actually interesting happen with this man's life?".

Anyway, just venting. Hopefully 2021 will bring us something nicer.
 
@DZoomer I get where you are coming from, Phil really is so dull now that most of the new TIHYDPs aren't even that entertaining (though god bless those that still make them). Luckily, he's never too far from a spectacular fuck-up.

I feel like if you break it down to basics, most cows are fairly repetitive. In terms of producing content, I dunno, I think Phil pretty consistently produces something to laugh at. I like reading about Phil doing stupid things, and, well, he consistently delivers. I think one of the issues with Phil is people sometimes get their hopes up for something bigger, despite the fact that the only big thing Phil is really known for is his gut. Even with some of the "bigger" events, there's the odd person who gets disappointed because it didn't result in this big drama filled collapse of Phil's life.

That being said, I could imagine getting frustrated with following Phil if I was actually watching his streams or being in his chat or something. I think the best way to observe Phil is safely from outside of the goutsphere. It's fun to read and speculate about, but that's because it generally only takes like, 5-10 minutes to get caught up on/comment about Phil. Some bigger events might take a little longer, especially if it has been a few days since you were online, but even then, you can usually skim posts fairly quickly or jump around and get the general gist of what is going on.

It's kind of like what's going on with Chris - most of what happens is along the same lines of being dumb, boring shit you've come to expect.

But when it doesn't...well, THAT'S the kind of lolcow milk we stick around for, because often it's a situation simultaneously of the cow's own doing and still comes across as completely blindsiding them. They actually have to react in real time to something they don't have a prepared answer for.
 
Speaking of DSP and stimulus checks...

I think this mother fucker got one and didn't tell anyone. Watch this clip, in it he is intentionally vague as to if he is going to get the next stimulus check or not, but his uncertainty is odd. I mean shouldn't it be as simple as "I didn't get the last stimulus check I won't get this one". Instead it's vaguely up in the air? He may get it, who knows?

1. phillip little cries the sky is falling because of taxes/bills/suspension/x/y/z, 2. tractors lick their lips, speculate wildly about the color of his future cardboard box, and eagerly await his impending downfall. 3. Paypigs rally and 'save' him at the last possible moment. Lather, rinse, repeat. Thats pretty much been the main cycle for nigh on a decade ever since he lost his daddy's helicopter job.

What amazes me most of all is that there are people even here who don't seem to have realized this after the 10000th time and still are jumping up and down confidently expecting the doom of phil in a couple days during the latest round of bills. Or post another thread about how phil is going to really get it this time for the 1000th twitch suspension.

Every once in awhile things will get jazzed up with a variation on the theme. Ie he's doomed because of a bankruptcy instead of the usual taxes but its all basically the same. Whats really made things stale is that in recent years his income has become a lot more...okay well stable isn't the right word but frequent. His paypigs respond to his pity snorts more quickly with larger more regular piles of cash shortening step 1 and 2 so there isn't as much time for him to become desperate and humiliate himself or to laugh at him.

EDIT: This is why I stick almost exclusively to edited detractor videos that condense what little interesting bits are left. Can't fathom people who still watch raw Phil, let alone unironically. You'd tear your hair out from the 10 thousandth loop. I'm not even sure how he manages all this repetition.

Considering how much money he made this year he should be above the cutoff. Ffs a 276 100$ streak several high bit cheers now 1000 subs and the income from his last patreons and Youtube. Plus the big stimulus package courtesy of Nancy. I wonder how high his taxes are this year (and we know he will never pay them in a timely fashion). In a way Phil is a leech. He sucks the money of simpleminded people, doesn't pay his taxes to support said people but demands the goverment does everything. The same goverment he is very unwilling to pay.
