The crimes occurred in Virginia, so I think that's where he'll be tried.
 
Yeah, not getting my hopes up for him going back to jail for the sex tape. He'll probably end up taking a plea deal. However, that may be enough to send it back on probation violation, so jail may still be on the table. If he test positive for drugs, even better.

Also for people going on about credibility this or that. When it comes to the revenge porn it won't matter. There is recorded evidence that he claimed he was hacked, there is also recorded evidence of her not consenting to the release. They can even get testimony from the mental facility where she was locked up to verify that she was not in her right state of mind and believed that he had been hacked since it was discussed with the doctors.
At the end of the day, there is evidence that 100% shows Ralph releasing the recording, it doesn't matter who's credibility is what, he did it. Now on top of that, she is a very young pregnant woman and he is an older alcoholic felon with Nazi ties, I'm pretty sure her credibility won't be the issue in front of a judge or jury.
 
Think you have to consider Covid. They are emptying jails. He can claim obesity and whatever other health conditions as reasons not to be put in jail. If they are doing anything, he's probably going to either get extended probation or house arrest.

That only exempts the guy who owns the connection. Nothing to do with Ralph's guilt. It might be harder to prove outright but this doesn't exempt the person doing the illegal act.

Going by your logic Ralph is going to lose. The judge was Roastie Shielding Monical Rial and the other women in the Vic case because of MeToo and TimesUp, and no one even debates this fact. The genders are reversed in Ralph's case with the female pressing charges against the male.
You can't claim that these cases are even remotely similar based on who we want to win/lose, that's retard logic.

Couldn't he also claim that he could have been "hacked" using an unsecured connection that could leak personal information and therefor be exempt using this section?
