Yeah no ones plotting to take over. The opposition has formed. Playing catch up isnt a winning strategy.

I just assume decay going set further and further in until bridges collapse and the like due to neglect, funding gone missing and the shredding of social capital needed for maintaince.

ID avoid living near any nuclear power plants cause of said decay.

Its not like those things built last century still have anyone making replacement parts any more.

Yeah, it is true that SCOTUS doesn’t want to crown anyone. Which means that if it turns into a contingent election or if the Senate goes with the alternative slate the Republicans have sent in, things are gonna get real interesting, real fast.

Don't forget, just as @It's HK-47 said, there are a lot of things yet to occur that were previously pro forma. Remember, nobody was supposed to contest this.

I think they have plenty of shit that needs to be hashed out in court. But we'll never get to the truth of it either way now. And that makes me actually sad.

You will never get the whole truth whatever happens. Yes it would have been nice for the courts to have heard this, but they chose not to. End of!

PLOT TWIST:

The Justices (including his appointees) that rejected the TX suit did it mostly to screw Trump over, and are likely eager at a chance to do it again.

Honestly people are talking about every outcomes.

And I'm so confused.
Same here.

I am wondering why Ellis is speaking to the Colorado legislature and the new NM lolsuit.

Why go for blue states like this WITH low electoral counts? Seems more like its to expose political machines at the legal level.

I realise everyone's having fun wallowing in the shitposting atm, but what's the actual state of play with cases/ Electoral College and whatever else is on Biden and Trump's list?

So what's likely to happen now? And I am sorta confused why people are claiming it's just GOP larping more than anything. Seems really weird to me.
Another poster (sorry i forgot who posted) linked to

Preparing for a Disputed Presidential Election: An Exercise in Election Risk Assessment and Management Edward B. Foley*

which goes over the issue pretty well. it's a wargame article and so far it's pretty spot on for this election.
