He also conveniently deleted his mods folder so no one can prove if he used mods. Drama ensues on twitter. When faced with nearly impossible odds and with no counter evidence Dream responds by riling up his rabid fanbase to attack the mods on a personal level:

I know his fan base got mad that he didn't shill BLM so he eventually caved made a boiler plate tweet and dumped money into the diversity industry. Then there was people getting mad over him shielding his annoying fans. People have accused him of faking his manhunter videos (where he attempts to beat the ender dragon without dying and 3 of his friends try and kill him). Is there anything I'm missing?

At the beginning of the year, he said actual retards are too retarded to get mad over the word and getting offended over the word retarded is just virtue signaling. Don't know if he caved on that or not, though. Probably, since those tweets were before he got the big teenage girl fanbase.

There's also the more popular one where he used his fanbase to heavily influence Mojang's recent "mob vote" to make the least popular choice win.

Pretty much. He also tends to swing his fans stans around like an autistic flail to go after people he disagrees with in an argument. Here's a recent example.
Basically, a youtuber going by Jawsh made a tweet chain talking about the toxicity of stans and will disavow any and all of his. Dream calls him an idiot and does the "not all stans are bad and the haters are worse" argument (he did this to another youtuber called Tagswag). He should not be enabling his fans like this. Won't be long before some grooming scandal comes out if he keeps doing this.

Aooarently the girl who doesn't talk in the first link is his cousin, and in a few episodes he says he dated and kissed her. Soo that explains why they are so retarded. Products of heroin, alcohol and incest!!!
 
Speaking of Dream fans, a similar and often overlapping fanbase is Corpse Husband fans. He blew up in popularity not for his horror videos but for playing Among Us with people like Sykkuno, at a time when stanning content creators was going into full swing. They simp over his edgelord aesthetic and GERD voice (which I don't get how all these fans get wet over, to me it's obvious he only sounds like that because his throat is fucked up) And his music sounds like mumble rap but worse.

It's kind of funny to see that every time Corpse does anything, a legion of his stans come out to coddle him, a guy who makes "edgelord grown man" his whole aesthetic.

I remember earlier coming to the conclusion that they all come from some offsite community, be it some server or forum or whatever else. I think it was how they could all show up at once to some random monkey video that doesn't even future abuse, not unlike how some communities will "brigade" other ones they don't like, and possibly they were all using similar terms but my memory is foggy on that one.
 
Here's a new one that's been going on for a while. Meet Volound, a videogame youtuber from Scotland who has recently been making a very long series of videos analysing the Total War strategy franchise in incredibly autistic detail. To his credit, I imagine his opinions hold some weight as he is actually quite good at videogames.

Yes, that is an hour and 20 minute video talking about the Roman tortoise formation in a video game. For those who can't be asked to sit through them all I'd like to summarise, but I can't really remember a single point he made outside of 'Warhammer Total War bad' in spite of his own admission that he hasn't played it. The general tone of the videos is an overwhelming sense of smug intellectualism and comes across as very 'Reddit'.

So as you'd imagine, the retarded drama kicks in in the TW franchise Reddit. You see, V-man's criticism of the TW games didn't go down well with the community and V-man doesn't like it when people disagree or even ask simple questions, normally reacting over twitter and comments on his channel quite angrily. On twitter, V-man is a vegan waging war on 'carnism', a leftist, bitcoin enthusiast and a China shill. He also has his own subreddit, for a band of sycophantic 'Le Enlightened High-IQ Gamer' fans to sit around and suck his and each other's dicks.

I got prompted to write this post after 'The absolute state of Total War in 2020'. A half hour of screeching about reddit drama and smug put downs of people who didn't agree with him. The salt is immeasurable. He's already done a much shorter video focused around the featured TW reddit post, crying about being banned and throwing around an angry whataboutism regarding edgy jokes made a couple of years ago on a stream by another TW youtuber, LegendofTotalWar.

If he continues to throw chimpouts like this, he might be worth a thread as he's certainly a bit exceptional. The guy's fragile ego makes him overreact to any potential badmouthing and criticism, and the smug redditor attitude is quite cowish. Come to think of it the whole TW youtube community is an exceptional little niche with various characters and dramatics.
