Since all realistic chances of overturning the election have been exhausted, there's nothing to really talk about unless there's an actual happening against all odds, so I don't know what you expect

The final form is put up or shut up. Conservative politicians and media personalities have been bitching for years about the encroaching authoritarianism from the Left. The overweening federal government and the evils of big tech and big media.

Well, all that shit has now come home to the roost and its now time for all these GOP politicians and media personalities to put their lives and sacred honor on the line. I am very curious to see if it was all just a silly game and an exercise in meaningless rhetoric for them. I am almost certain it was.

For me, it felt dishonest that the first thing he did was he wanted to push through a guy that eliminated net neutrality a year into his presidency. The premise for it seemed dishonest and blind at the leasf for the ramifications.

Section 230, the thing that allowed websites like this some kind of protection from lol suits from assmad people, was also a major target for the trump administration. His intent seemed genuine but what it meant for any social forum outside of Twitter/Facebook/YouTube would have a significantly harder time coping with legal defences if they didn't just cave and remove any information. This had the opposite effect of protecting conservatives and regular people from censorship, imo, and had more potential for the rich to bully poor people into silence.

The last example I can think of for was when he implicated he might be pushing for harder evaluation of how they handle violent video games in the future given the rise in school shootings. Willfully neglecting the real problem comes from kids being bullied by peers and the school administrators punishing the kids for any kind of sticking up for themselves. I feel like he is smarter than, durr, games are bad, and looked for scapegoats that just weren't there.

I will amend I've seen trump do more for minorities in his four years than democratic presidents in the past 20 years. Irony, that BLM did the dirty work for Biden and Harris and put out a statement that since the result of the election, they are yet to receive an invitation to speak with Biden. Business as usual incoming for ignoring the minorities, until election time, right?

You never know, I mean the script writers for 2020 have been known to toss a curveball when things seem certain. If nothing else, wait till the post-season epilogue in January.

History is a long and winding thread. This year America has flirted with calamity. Much like it did in the decades leading up to its first calamity in 1860.

Even if nothing happens, now, something that cannot be taken back has been let loose. The "fly over" states went from political side show and late night comedy jokes to outrageous evil people intent on destroying democracy. A mortal wound has been struck into the body of the American Union. The only question now is how long it will take to die.

Of this I am 100% certain.
