There's no reason to believe this will hold. Just look at the sort of people supporting this idea of withholding support from the GOP unless they back Trump- weird homosexuals like Nick Feutnes and Karl Rove's rentboy Ali 'Alexander' Akbar, 100% tied to the GOP. They will be back supporting voting straight ticket GOP in due time.
As much as I would hope it's not lip service (though I'd settle for reform instead of destruction but that's not happening) more than likely it is. Most people cave on their personal convictions.

Boomers will still vote for them, but I just can’t see Trumpers supporting them at all.
I think some will fall back to the "lesser of the two evils" concept. I mean earlier in this topic we had an argument eerily similar to this in the "stop gap" concept. I think many Trumpers will start by trying a new party. If it does well maybe others will join, but let's say for sake of argument it fails like anything not R or D does quite often, they'll either try to reform, redirect, or just submit to the fact they won't succeed out of capitulating to it. It at least won't be a "slavery vote" when they come to that realization but it's still leaves a bad taste in my mouth if it happens as such.

I expect more to just drop out entirely. Most aren’t supporting the right, they’re just supporting trump because he was such an outlier to both parties.

Who exactly is left to keep the GOP together after Trump's loss? McConnell? I can definitely see some formation of a "new" party with elements of Trumpism after Mitch's reign ends, but I don't think it'll happen while he still maintains the Senate.

If it does form however, it'd be spearheaded by someone like Cruz, if not Cruz himself. He got closer than anybody else in 2016.

As one of those people I agree, though I think I'm (and people like me) are the minority, where most are drifting into the right wing or trying to take over it, such as the center-right, and left wing people who are afraid of what the left is will try to conform to the right or take it over slowly. (Overton window type concept shifting left) Though you are fully correct that most disillusioned or in despair will walk out of politics or give up completely in such a system or outcome.

Yes. Don't fall for a conman. It's not hard.

Sure buddy. :story:

"They serve purpose only at the stage of destabilization of a nation. For example, your leftists in the United States, all these professors and all these beautiful civil rights defender, they are instrumental in the process of the subversion, only to destabilize a nation. When their job is completed, they are not needed anymore. They know too much. Some of them, when they get disillusioned, when they see that Marxist Leninist has come to power obviously they get offended. They think that they will come to power. That will never happen of course. They will be lined up against the wall and shot."

In 2016, right before the Iowa primary, Trump said at his rally "I love all of you! Actually no, I don't, I hardly know any of you, but I have to say that!" He came in second.
In 2008, Barack Obama promised a new era of unprecedented transparency in the White House. On his watch, there were eight prosecutions of whistleblowers under the 1917 Espionage Act – more than double those under all previous presidents combined. I'm not sure if that included Snowden or Manning.
In 2000, George W Bush promised to pay down American's debts. We would up spending over $1 trillion on the Iraq War.

Americans enjoy snake oil salesmen.

People here were talking about Ron DeSantis, the governor of Florida. He might be able to capture the Trump crowd. Then there's Cruz. But, overall, the GOP doesn't really have a lot of leaders in its ranks that can bring forth the same crowd as Trump.

Anyways, here's an update on the Nevada GOP

I think if Cruz or some of the other optimal choices don't take over it might not keep together so well for a period of time until maybe a new face enters the scene. It's actually a bad thing though because this is a scenario I was well aware of believing the right wing has for too long kicked a can down the road, and if such a scenario happens well the outcome doesn't look good. Though when I suggested not voting for the right as did others in a "slave vote mentality" it was considered escalation or accelerationism. The truth is the reason people wanted the right to stop is to prevent accelerationism not encourage it at least in my own argument.

Now because of the GOP's failure and inaction the reverse may well happen.

It's orge. Who cares about "developments" that's just going to get dismissed. All Hail china Bro. Get a fang fang to cook you dumplings.
Someone has to (pointlessly) white pill till the bitter end. Maybe some Q faggot accelerationist will get a new high score in Galaga and write a cringe manifesto on /pol/ or something.
