Everyone, relax. Now, color me optimistic, but there are still other lawsuits in the works, and have been in the works since the Texas thing was announced. The Texas lawsuit being taken down is disappointing, but in retrospect, we shouldn't have been surprised that it was, because it was pretty weird (as well as that New California and New Nevada thing, what was that about?).

Take a break, eat something, take a nap or something.
Man, it's better to give up now than to set yourself up for disappointment. It's not the end of the world, y'know?

I saw someone else say that this Texas lawsuit was a freebie for the Trump team so really nothing has changed. We're just back where we were a week ago. Trump seems calm and I imagine he still has options.

I'm not a doomer. However, the SCOTUS' decision to dismiss the case is a big deal, and a huge loss for Trump. For weeks, when the lower courts were dismissing these cases, I kept saying "Wait until SCOTUS. Until then, we're in the same position." Well, SCOTUS happened, and it wasn't good.

If Trump still has a plethora of options like some supporters and (Giuliani) are still saying, then I'd love to hear what they are.

God.

It really is people being utterly fucking clueless that have doomed us.

Imagine being so clueless you don't even know about the Build Back Better being a global initiative of corporate interests to demolish the middle class.

It's not collateral damage.
I would love to spit in these cocksuckers' eyeballs.

Personally I think it's a bluff/morale boost to stop people from feeling down or to de-escalate people. He might have something but the odds of whatever wild card he has would be extremely narrow.

Are they?

Hahaha, heck yeah! *I* am very please with SCOTUS's decision to laugh blumfps case out of court! Their decision made me believe in this country once again and proved that we still have a democracy.

Perhaps the most surprising thing out of all of this, was that Brett Kavanaugh actually voted against hearing the Texas case. For those of you with a severe case of TES, he was the guy who said this:

The fact that this person decided to vote against the lolsuit, indicates that the ass-whooping Queen Kamala gave him was effective in (re-)educating him about democracy and further proves the fact that we should put all y'all dumfpstasdstards in camps to re-educate you.

That day will come soon.

Signed,
Nathaniel Higgerstein III

So Trump isn't conceding ... At least not yet. I would fully approve of Trump leaving office without ever actually conceding. He needs to give this election and his opponent the respect that they deserve ... Which is none. I'd rather Trump be literally dragged out of office kicking and screaming than him "taking the high road." Fuck that.

If his statements are no more than a bluff, then it will absolutely not boost the morale. If anything, it's making people tired.

Look at what's happened in the past month and a half: There's been so much back-and-forth, with the Trump supporters keeping the hope alive. With every piece of good news, it gets slapped back down with increasingly bad news. With the SCOTUS decision tonight, I don't think the right words to Trump's supporters should be "It's not ever yet! Trust us for real this time!" Even if it somehow truly isn't over yet, then I don't think those words should be said at this point. It's not productive. It's telling people to "sit back and wait to see what we can do!" We're way past that point. It's time to be angry and motivated, especially if a Biden Administration is on the horizon.
