Also if all those people are lying, investigate and prosecute. See if its real or not. Nobody wants to look into it. At fucking all. Which is a disgrace. Trump fucked this all up, though. He was late on literally everything.

Forget invoking the Insurrection Act - this is Trump Crossing the Rubicon.

Straight out stating that there is fraud against his campaign, from the White House, carried out directly and knowingly by the opposition party, is a monumental claim. You cannot, as the sitting President of the United States, state officially from the White House that the opposition party attempted what is essentially a coup without consequence - it's unprecedented. If he and his legal team are able to legally prove these claims in a court of law, then yes, this is indeed probably the most important speech he has ever given.

But his case for it also needs to be air-fucking-tight. Because if it is not - either the evidence they have is non-existent, exaggerated, or wasn't properly submitted - and the cases are thrown out yet again, then he deserves to forever be mocked and cursed as a disgrace to the republic.

So Godspeed, Donald Trump. If what you claimed today is true, then it is an unprecedented crisis in our republic, and you deserve props for trying to rectify it for the sake of us all. But if you can't provide the goods - if all the claims you made in this speech just turns out to be so much hot air - then you will rightfully forever be known as the first US Presidential lolcow.

Looks like you may get your wish. That speech by Trump is either the biggest lolcow moment yet, or an active declaration of war. One does not simply state the things he did without severe repurcussions and/or a way to back it up.

What a way to top off this year, though.
