Missing from this,of course is all the print media and viral vids put out by the violent troons targetting Dr P, including the article that accused him of having "neonazis wearing 3rd Reich symbols" at the initial event.
There was later a very low-key retraction when it was found that the "woman wearing a Nazi eagle pendant" was in fact the head of the Slavic Students Association who was wearing a Serbian eagle necklace.

The entire thing was a histrionic witch-hunt from start to end, and only snowballed from there. It fucking AmAZES me that Farmers, who should, more than anyone, be aware of the insane and absurd nature of troons, would default to pillorying Dr peterson on the testimony of hysterical mentally ill troons.

I mean, I appreciate getting a first hand account from the ground.

I still think Peterson is a bit of a loon, even if he got some red army ants to go after him. What he told you privately about his motives... I give it the same stock as what he says in front of a camera about his motives. An ambitious person that knows that he's being judged from many angles.

The result of all the unfair attacks against him, has also given him a bit of a shield among other folk, I presume somewhat like yourself, who see someone treated unfairly and instinctively want to defend him.

Jordan has been catering to the MGTOW and incel community for quite a few years now. He has had to satisfy these men's fragile ego's that the problem isn't them, but feminists. He got most of his star power from them and the corporations that love his message of ''bootstraps and a clean room'' for a whole new generation.

I can think of some of his arguments against socialism, I can think of some against general leftism, but I can't think a single argument against feminism that Peterson has made, so I would like to know why you said that.

They aren't the ones who even caused him most of his problems, though. Were it not for the fact that his job was legally protected, he would have immediately been fired from the university and be disgraced internationally. Actually even WITH the legal protections of his job he STILL would have been fired anyway did he more directly criticize globohomo instead of his pussyfooting spineless stance of "I think they are going too far with this political correctness stuff because 'hate speech' is literally already completely illegal in Canada. It's this kind of top down action that would have been way worse for him than any of the stupid feminists on campus, were he actually saying anything meaningful ever, which was not the case.

So basically TL;DR the powers he was "up against" are very real and VERY fucking dangerous, but he was not really ever up against them in any meaningful way. They made his life largely hell for even slightly overstepping his bounds even though he barely ever said anything. LMAO, fuck him up? He kept his job, he gave a talk to the canadian senate, he became famous as an intellectual. Before he was a nobody professor from bumfuck nowhere Toronto and later he was allowed to debate Zizek (where he was crushed). And now his books are best seller and he has a legion of followers (or a cult) who throw money at him every turn. All the fucking leaf had to do was stand up to some spastic college kids for a while.

The hate speech laws only pertain to something that involves suggesting violence towards a particular group. Hate speech would not be suggesting that transgenders are not really female (for example). To be charged with hate speech would be rare in Canada, it almost never occurs.

About Jordan losing his job as a professor for certain views and comments - that has happened in the USA too

Literally explicitly stipulated in my post that he is not a hero and never actually stood for anything, lmao. Absolutely they did not fuck him up as much as they could have if he did actually try to stand up for something, but international media scrutiny is not fucking fun unless you're someone like Donald Trump who cares about nothing at all except for fame positive or negative. They didn't really fuck him up but they did try an get him fired and probably easily could have if it were not for the amount of publicity he had at the time. They were after him constantly. Canada is less relevant to the rest of the world than China, India or Russia is; Britain and the Commonwealth countries haven't been anything that matters on the global scale since the now-faded days of the British empire and its racist imperialism which it misses so much.

If anything, the entire Commonwealth should just be forcibly annexed off by the UN to China and India as reparations for its history of racist colonialism, slavery, etc.

(For that matter, siding with them during WWII may have been a mistake to begin with in retropect - we should have just let Hitler have them, since it would have been just retribution when the colonized becomes the colonized, and could have been used as a bargaining chip to prevent further costly war.)
