It's soulless, like the mindless consumers they want. People really could go all NWO and Great Reset with theories as to why this is what is considered 'art'. Stick figures have more character and heart than this stuff.

I saw an ad on TV today that used the Alegria style. Dont even remember what the ad was for.

That kind of art always makes me uncomfortable when I see it. Like an uncanny valley effect, but not quite.
 
Does anyone remember what stream Josh essentially outlined every mistake Ethan Ralph made during the corn harvest?

That shit is to artistic style as crocs are to footwear. Easily enjoyed by the apathetic but distinctly revolting to those with even a modicum of taste.

Has anyone been able to find the interview Null was reading from on the show? I can't find it but I haven't tried that hard yet.

This is so retarded. Bauhaus is a modernist movement, not a postmodern one. And concerns mostly architecture and industrial design - there is no unified Bauhaus art style.

It sorta fits the very simplified forms and easy to mass manufacture aspect of Bauhaus but so would stick figure drawings and CAD comics.

It would be fun to see an alegria thread take off. I wonder how easy it is to figure out the formula. There's so many possibilities...

Bauhaus has great potential in architecture and to some degree, furniture - but it has had its day in the sun (about a century ago) and it certainly doesn't need to become the de-facto norm for internet "art", especially in the Alegria way. On a side note - wonder if Null is going to address the ongoing Melinda Scott shenanigans next week
 
4chin should make alegria shit with hidden nazi symbology and other fun stuff in it to taint the entire style. Like have two noodle arm monsters playing basket ball but if you look at it just right their arms form a swastika. The simple patterns and colors should make it easy for anyone to both create and mass produce for plastering all over the world.

That's not the Alegria style. While it is a flat and vector, they look like regular people with distinct sexual and age differences, with normal human skin tones. If I had to sum up the Alegria is: it's phoned in vectors + Steven Universe.

Not sure about the interview but I've found a few comedic drawings in that horrid style that would probably make the concept designer very upset

I've got some shit to do today to prepare for the All-American Gluttony Festival but if I can get everything done I'll go ahead and start a thread on this if nobody else beats me to it (feel free). It's all so appealingly awful.
 
Well there be a stream about the glorious return of antifa supersoilder ADF this week? Has MatI ever covered Phil? It feels like it should have considering he use to have his own subform, but I don't remember one.
 
I particularly enjoy whenever null plays a story based games so he can react to the plot. And not good story games, ones that obviously have a fucked up plot like life is strange. I remember last year being comfy and enjoying the weekly wolf brother play through in autumn. Please do more before the year is over! Or don't, it's your decision
