He only had 4 followers around early September 2020. You can make the assumption that was around the time he made the account.

Optimistic theory here, but is it possible that she's taking this new stance because of how badly she handled the Vic situation? I doubt it, but the only reason I wouldn't completely deem it 100% impossible is due to JYB.

Stephanie Sheh is supposedly close friends with Johnny Yong Bosch and the two more or less entered the anime VA industry at the same time. It's possible after her spats with Vic on Twitter, JYB talked to her and tried to put things into context.

Johnny is also probably the most prolific of the VA's to support Vic as opposed to condemn him outright or pay the bare minimum lip service and then keep their heads down to avoid wrath from the higher-ups in the industry (Michelle Ruff), sit on the fence and play both sides (Chuck Hueber) or see it as a trash fire that doesn't concern them and wisely stay out of this entirely (Laura Bailey)

Probably way too optimistic that she quietly changed her mind and it's more likely she's just trying to play safe and this is an awkward attempt at pragmatism and avoiding a repeat of her comments on Vic.

I think Sheh hasn't gone full AWL because she's got more self-control than Mandy and unlike AWL, she still has an actual career and too many iconic roles (Hinata, Orihime, Sailor Moon) for her to self-destruct while the only notable roles that AWL has are Rei Ayanami, Rally Vincent, and some chick from Persona.

Rei can easily be recast and has been multiple times and same goes for the Persona roles while Gunsmith Cats is a relic of the early 90's and has faded into obscurity.

ADV dubs were garbage compared to what we have today, and even the speds over at ANN will concede that point. They did on the show where they interviewed Carl Macek (if anybody cares). They barely knew how to do ADR, and had a much smaller stable of talent.

Funimation doesn't really do a horrible job on their ADR. It's certainly better than a lot of what I grew up with. It's just a shame they have so many shitheads working for them.

I utterly detest ACAB morons. They have no grasp whatsoever about what police actually deal with on a daily basis. Whenever I hear that ACAB shit I just assume I'm hearing the narcissistic lunacy of an outright criminal who more or less hates cops because they sometimes get interrupted while they're committing a crime.

Vic has apologized more than once and every single of his apologies were splattered in the filings of the 3 stooges&Funi and used against him, NOT A SINGLE ONE reached out to him and instead everyone was against him from the start, with only some exceptions being totally silent or asking for a due process (and getting shit over it, like it happened when Dante/Reuben Langdon did it). :feels:

BT being BT has to shill his landwhales every time he can and insert Vic everywhere just to spew some more toxicity over him only because 2 of his idols didn't say a thing about Kirby's passing...while failing to do the same as he attacked Vic over staying silent regarding BurnLootMurder. Like even Macross die hards were banging their heads against the wall as they grudgingly admitted the dub of Robotech HG did in '85 had better acting and direction.

What I just posted was from 2005! They shouldn't have even bothered doing it if that's the lack of care they showed. It's embarrassing to have a dub from 20 years earlier, from a very controversial adaptation, be so much superior.

NGE dub was 97 to 98 and was... okay. I admit I am kinda nostalgic for it. I think Allison Keith and Tiffany Grant mainly carried the show. That was probably the best dub they ever did. Possibly because they grasped what a big deal that show was. A lot of other stuff they did was hot garbage.
