I definitely draw the line at children as well and as for the starving part, no, but it comes down to “what can you realistically do?” If it’s someone you don’t know. Maybe I’m a sociopath for thinking that way, but if it was someone I did know I would most definitely intervene.

But what’s your opinion on people who are satisfied with the transition and are happier afterwards? Do you believe there’s more going on behind their head then what’s being lead on? There are some people who have transitioned and are happy with the results and do go on to live relatively decent albeit flawed lives with caveats. What are your thoughts on them?

As long as they don't try to push things on other people, or tear down other people to raise themselves up, I don't care what anyone does in their private life. There are many trans people who loathe these transtrenders more than we do for making their lives harder when they just want to get by day to day. The moment someone tries to paint me or my people as inherently evil for not giving them everything they demand, or they try to influence others/organizations to give them more by taking from others, then they become a threat and worthy of derision.

The ones who just mind their own business (IE. Not posting their pronouns everywhere or living on social media) aren't worth a second thought and that's probably how they like it.

His "sensible" parents flipped their lid and isolated him because he was gay. Not defending Alcorn here but I don't think this is a tragic case of the Tumblr groomers winning out over the poor perfect parents.

Exactly, the real issue is that their self-diagnosis is mostly wrong (“I am a woman” vs. “I wish I was a woman”) and affirmation as treatment is actually harmful (like if chemo actually had nothing to do with curing cancer, but still had all the side effects). I don’t think whatever the opposite of affirmation is (this thread?) is the cure, either. The treatment for their obsession with being the opposite sex, imo, is an entirely internal struggle that has nothing to do with other people’s attitudes towards them, good or bad. Hence the constant boundary-pushing, the need for more. Once you’re alone, it all falls apart.

Edit to add: I’m obviously talking about troons who at least have some sort of actual dysphoria/real desire to be the opposite sex, futile a desire as it is. All the trenders/non-binary people are just regular ol’ NPDs and modern medicine ain’t got nothing for them.

Wow, bold to start a letter with a lie. There was no transgender community 20 years ago - so "for decades" is a lie. Also, Crenshaw didn't invent "intersectionality" until 92, I think, so again, not really "decades". And then straight on to the "queer"-slur, before an emotional appeal that the self-less transgender people stood behind gay and lesbians movements, even if they weren't mentioned... (Spoiler: it's 'because they weren't there...)
