One thing I've noticed with FTM and the women who identify themselves as "gender non-conforming" is that aesthetic-wise they look like they came off an assembly line. They all have the same upper cut hair, wear the same button up shirts, and pose in a way they believe will highlight their (typically doughy) jawline.

There might be a small chance, but the logistics of how they got there would be wildly different. In some Muslim theocracies it is illegal to be gay but not to be trans, so gay folks transition as a means to not be stoned to death.

That is why there are apparently really high quality plastic surgeons in Iran.
