I'm not sure if scarletjusticewitch or whatever is a troll or she's just :stupid:

Either way this is some good-ass shit.

On a side note I just saw the new Mad Max. It's possibly the most badass thing I've ever seen, and I suppose by the dictionary definition its pretty feminist though admittedly I wish people would cool splooging on how feminist it is cause like, idk its like acting like people should only see it for one thing instead of literally everything (cause battle tankers and flaming guitar war music machines and headshot granny and a dude ripping arrows out of his skull and proceeding to beat ass has jack all to do with feminism but is shit people need to see). Plus feminism these days can mean everything from actual gender equality to rich white girls whining about video games and Disney princesses to smegma guzzling turd nuggets white-knighting child molesters and rapists because of their gender.

Let's face it, most social justice warriors tend to be "slacktivists", so how much damage would they actually do to the causes they claim to be champions of? How much mainstream media attention do they actually get? How many people actually know about the SJW antics outside of a group of people on the Internet?
Most of the first trans people I ever met were all crazy and very vocal it gave me a negative prejudice. I think other kiwis might have similar stories. I doubt there is much research on this... well just because there is probably nobody to do it that will so I guess that's the best we can do.

But sure it might turn out that given enough time most people encounter enough regular trans people to change their mind but I doubt it given how stubborn people are about changing once their mind is made up.

That amount just keeps dropping and dropping. First I heard 75¢, then 70¢, and now 54¢. How long until they claim that women don't even get paid for doing their jobs?

Of all the petty things to complain about, it's that these people can't afford their lipstick.

Unbelievable.

At least you can pay for your feminine hygiene products, lady. You ought to be lucky.

Well, actually, feminine hygiene products refer to things that help women keep their lady parts neat (pantyliners, pads, tampons, etc). They actually are pretty necessary if you want to maintain basic hygiene. But it's not like they cost more than the rent or anything; if you drop like $15 on a big pack of pads or something you'll be set for months. They're really not that difficult to afford.

I heard women have to actually pay to go to work.

Fucking patriarchy.

They believe the more oppressed a person is, the less they will without a doubt earn over their lifetime. There's a masterpost floating around debunking it. There are a few grains of truth (fewer opportunities means possibly losing lifetime income, for example) but it's been twisted to fit their narrative. AFAIK there is no legal wage gap in the U.S. except for the one between able-bodied and disabled workers.

There's also a theory called "Double Burden" but don't tell them that.

An innocent Twitter response where the creative team behind the upcoming Bizarro mini-series if there'd be a representation of POC in it gets a bunch of people's panties in a wad. They thought it would be fun to answer the question in the way Bizarro would: "Bizzaro is gray. So I hope you're counting him." Despite the PR trying to sooth this over, people said,"It’s especially upsetting that the writer behind an all-ages comic series appears to not grasp the importance of young readers being able to see themselves on a page (and that DC might not understand the implications of equating people of color with a character created to exemplify freakishness)." As well as a slap to the face of people of color. For extra fun, read the comments.

In Bizarro world wouldn't white people be the POCs?

A book series full of incest, gore, and rape turns into a TV show full of incest, gore, and rape.

Shocker.

Bizarro think that tweet am very offensive, and social justice warriors not overreacting at all! They am smart, and everything they say am totally relevant to comic book industry!

At this point, Game of Thrones seems to be reaching for cheap shock value. I fail to see the logic in calling the show out for showcasing traumatic events (as if by showcasing them, its endorsing them) over calling the show out for sloppy, shitty writing. If you've made it to season 5 of Game of Thrones, its really fucking late to act like you're morally outraged over rape being depicted.

I think its also funny that I've seen more tumblr outrage over the rape then over a young girl being killed horrifically.

My introduction to SJWism was through a wordpress blog by a chick called Foz Meadows. I was new to it so I kept looking for ways to make sense of what she was saying but eventually gave up. Here's one from back in the day.

This is her attitude toward a male feminist who claims women are superior to men. After she "fisked" some of his statements in a wordpress post saying he's not a real feminist, he responded on twitter.

I'm not sure it's even sexual, unless "Foz" means something I'm not aware of. Just so quick with the R word.

Since according to her that's the "most sexually disgusting thing" someone said to her, her experience counts as counter-evidence about "rape culture" and the SJW/feminist claim that sexual harassment is very common and an every-day thing for many (if not almost all) women.

Yo this is a good point. The show first aired in 2011, the dawn of the Tumblr army. In the first episode one of the main character is sold pretty much as a sex slave to some barbarian dude and raped. She's also supposed to be 14 (in the books at least). I didn't see a SINGLE post back then about triggering. At least 100x less of a shit storm.

It's like people are devolving their emotions.

Social Justice Warrior is a bogeyman used to shut down people who challenge the status quo.

The explanation of "Tumblr terminology" in the OP(which contains terms that faaar predate tumblr) takes everything to a ridiculous extreme, and basically removes the ability of anyone to point out things like, "straight white dudes have it easier than us, on average, and should have more empathy". You literally can't point out things like this, or you're hurting your cause, you're MISANDRIST, all this sort of bullshit. You get people calling SJWs stupid, uneducated, when they clearly don't understand the terminology they're making fun of. It's like edgy as fuck 8 year olds learning big adult words and throwing them back at each other in world salads in an attempt to be clever. While there's a popular image of SJWs as basement dwellers, anti-SJWs are much more likely to meet this description. While you'll always get the odd trans or POC anti-SJW desperate to fit in, the fact is that most of these viewpoints are born from a very severe lack of perspective, and are generally spearheaded by individuals sheltered by privilege. And yes, privilege is a valid term. Tumblr did not invent it. If you think it did, you are a fucking idiot and shouldn't be talking about complicated sociological issues. Go back to yelling homophobic slurs at minors in Call of Duty or whatever it is you kids do these days.

I work with groups like the Roma. I know people are grandchildren of Holocaust victims. These people have been labelled as SJWs and attacked as such. The idea that oppression is playing a "victim card" shows a complete lack of perspective on everything. Perhaps if SJW actually held a useful, consistent definition and wasn't just a way to shame and silence people outside of the mainstream for challenging the status quo it might have a use. But it doesn't.

Feminism is often accused of shutting down discussion, but in reality there are many lengthy discussions to be had on the nature of oppression and privilege. ALL of the "definitions" in the OP post are designed to silence and shut down outsider groups who are critical of those of privilege. There are huge movements built around this, single out shaming and harassing people into silence, I've seen it happen to both myself and others. You'll get people who claim they're not transphobic but act in a way that is entirely conducive to silencing all transgender women.

There's plenty of flaws to be found with tumblr Social Justice, but these aren't them. These are just entirely anti-critical thinking and just want to bring us back to a point where people get to be racist, sexist, homo/transphobic scumbags without being called on it. It's embarrassing.
Oh wow, it's not your job to educate me so please silence your narrative .
