That or give it the toxic treatment and make to where the move is now less accurate (maybe 80% accurate), but it doesn't miss if user shares the move's typing. That way, the move is a little more distinct and isn't just "a sleep powder that doesn't initially miss" (yes, I'm aware that one of the distinct features of Spore is that the mons that have access to the move, except smeargle, have mushroom-like features).
Speaking of which, how many mushroom pokemon are there? Off the top of my head, I can name four (Shroomish line, Foongus line, Paras line and the Morelull line). Are they the only ones?
The adaptive team building has some really interesting quirks. In BW if you have in hacked Pokemon that have like, wonder guard and no weaknesses, the battle subway enemies will focus on status moves and other ways to drain your hp and so on. Go even further and they'll start carrying fire fang, that only works through wonder guard because of glitches. Fascinating stuff.
It's mostly just lacking graphical polish...or I guess polish in general. I'd always rather pick up Sword/Shield compared to the slog that was Gen IV even if the latter's world design etc. is better.

Sonia's the only one who actually does anything of importance. The gym leaders you see a couple times as per usual and Marnie is just, there. Like seriously after coming off of Lillie she's such a complete plank of a character with a mess of a design (plain pink dress with a bunch of "goth" features scattered around yet she talks and acts like some shy country girl).
Hilda and Rosa also have buns. The booty shorts in Hilda's case, and cute hairstyle in Rosa's case. Just really nice designs all around, and I can say the same with Hilbert and Nate.
I agree, except for the egg raising. Especially, when they're practically giving a way the leveling manuals and Evolution shards/stones via the training areas and the shop.

Yeah that sounds like /vp/. Honestly SwSh's characters are one of its biggest strengths. They're not super deep or anything, but all of the gym leaders for example are memorable and endearing. Big fan of Kabu, myself.
I don't go on /vp/ so I didn't know that before but at the same time it makes perfect sense cause JP twitter artists I follow had been putting homo art of these two on my dash even though I didn't even follow pokemon artists specifically.
