A transgender girl accused of assaulting two students at a Texas high school alleges that she was being bullied and was merely fighting back

Shocking video shows a student identified by police as Travez Perry violently punching, kicking and stomping on a girl in the hallway of Tomball High School.

The female student was transported to the hospital along with a male student, whom Perry allegedly kicked in the face and knocked unconscious.

According to the police report, Perry - who goes by 'Millie' - told officers that the victim has been bullying her and had posted a photo of her on social media with a negative comment.

One Tomball High School parent whose daughter knows Perry said that the 18-year-old had been the target of a death threat.

'From what my daughter has said that the girl that was the bully had posted a picture of Millie saying people like this should die,' the mother, who asked not to be identified by name, told DailyMail.com.

When Perry appeared in court on assault charges, her attorney told a judge that the teen has been undergoing a difficult transition from male to female and that: 'There's more to this story than meets the eye.'

Perry is currently out on bond, according to authorities.

The video of the altercation sparked a widespread debate on social media as some claim Perry was justified in standing up to her alleged bullies and others condemn her use of violence.

The mother who spoke with DailyMail.com has been one of Millie's most ardent defenders on Facebook.

'I do not condone violence at all. But situations like this show that people now a days, not just kids, think they can post what they want. Or say what they want without thinking of who they are hurting,' she said.

'Nobody knows what Millie has gone through, and this could have just been a final straw for her. That is all speculation of course because I don't personally know her or her family, but as a parent and someone who is part of the LGBTQ community this girl needs help and support, not grown men online talking about her private parts and shaming and mocking her.'

One Facebook commenter summed up the views of many, writing: 'This was brutal, and severe! I was bullied for years and never attacked anyone!'

Multiple commenters rejected the gender transition defense and classified the attack as a male senselessly beating a female.

One woman wrote on Facebook: 'This person will get off because they're transitioning. This is an animal. She kicked, and stomped, and beat...not okay. Bullying is not acceptable, but kicking someone in the head. Punishment doesn't fit the crime.'

we need to protect the integrity of women's athletics, if we're not vigilant it could all be lost

I like how she makes this about transgender participation in sports. If you identify as non-binary, does it make it acceptable to use testosterone in sports? If so, why wouldn't every team encourage their female athletes to be non-binary to get past those pesky regulations? This shit is so fucking stupid. Trans people should be banned from all major sports leagues at this point. You have a choice: represent your sex in sports or go LARP and experiment with hormones with your gender-special buddies.
I think the rule should be very simple, if you haven't done any medical transitioning you go with your biological gender (intersex depending the exact condition but if in doubt male), if you have done any medical transitioning you don't compete at all. You can still do sports as a hobby, nobody is going to take that away from you, but you just don't qualify any competition because you are in fundamental level fucking with your performance and that's not allowed to others eather. If the trans want to do their own tranny legue along the lines of paraolympics, sure that's fine and level plainfield, but rest of the wirld don't have fuck sports just for them.

Would wahmen's sportsball ever be interesting, with or without troons?
No, which is why I don’t give a shit about any adult competition - pro or am - in which there is no potential for hurting women and that doesn’t impact the downtrodden. So while I despise Rhys McKinnon, I don’t feel any sort of indignation for the women he keeps beating. They’re not downtrodden and they’re not going to be hurt. It’s a hobby and an expensive one. I don’t care about the women, I just hate Rhys.

But the poor abused girls in Samoa or wherever that the giant middle aged New Zealand rich man’s son took Olympic spots away from? Now THAT enrages me. That means something to those girls. The first success, the first opportunity they’ve had in their lives, and poof, gone. That photo of them on the stand with the one clearly about to cry, now that is sad. And when troons actually injure women, I care.

With minors though, I always care. Title IX exists because while girls’ sports will never be profitable because they are not as interesting to watch, there is mental, emotional, social, and physical value in kids participating in sports, and for a lot of kids it’s a path to higher education. Black lives matter unless the black lives are the black females who benefit more from college sports scholarships than any other group, and then they don’t.

I agree with most of your statements. However, the main reason that women's sports are not as interesting is simply because there aren't as many people within that community. I think that with time and more women coming forward, we'll see more good players such as Serena Williams, and then more people will be interested. In short, it is possible for women's sports to be interesting, but it'll take time.

How do I rate a post "fat"?

The professional sports system is a major driver of amateur athletics and children's sports programmes. Women's pro sports is media which exalts the female body and female achievements in which women are shown as dignified humans in their own right, not crippled males. Adding troons into the mix would show that they are, in fact, worse than crippled male clowns.

Furthermore, all positions of power are occupied by people who are "not downtrodden and aren't going to be hurt". Are you willing to concede all of them to troons? Would you be ok with legislation that's prohibit a (real) woman from having 5 or more people in aggregate in her downstream chain of command?

Lol I care about political appointments, I just specifically do not care about professional or adult amateur sports. No matter who is playing. And since I don’t care, I don’t feel indignation.

Nothing is stopping you from crying over women riding $5-10k bikes losing races they had to have the money to fly all over the world to participate in, but I don’t have to. You can do the caring for me if you like.
