Exactly. What employer would find Jen to be a useful and needed addition to their staff? Especially during all this covid madness? Gene's minimum wage toiling isn't changing their tax bracket in the slightest. What would an auditor do? She's eating all their money, if they came to inspect the home they'd find an empty room with security cam footage running 24/7.

Jen reminds me of someone who came from a family history of welfare recipients. Also, she’s too huge and too stupid to adult. So that tug boat $ is here to stay. Reporting her would be a waste of time because she’s legit.

I'll take a wild stab and say that she''s probably never been a regular view of Masterpiece Theater on PBS.
 
She will never be different. She has lived her whole life like this. I'm not even talking about her weight. She is so used to being "special" and everyone has to take care of her, financially and otherwise. You can tell by the entitled way she talks about being medically treated and doesn't feel a bit of shame over sponging off the government. Let's say tomorrow she was suddenly thinner and physically capable. She still wouldn't do anything except maybe the occasional trip to the corner to look at the sunset.
She can't handle the real world or having to learn to deal with different types of people.

You would think in all these years she would have at least become interested in some topics she could educate herself about, like art, history, current events, literature, music, etc. There is no excuse these days. No. She is all balled up in herself. Miserable but she will never change because though she kids herself that she want to, she she really doesn't.

You’ve hit the nail on the head. Her pride in herself comes from milking the system. I wish I had her self confidence. She lives in poverty and interacts with the world on a basically one way social media platform. She deletes what she doesn’t want to hear. When required, she plays the victim role. At other times, she’s a know it all. I wonder if she has any idea how many people are making fun of her?
