So my theory is Funimation realized they'd have to pay someone to actually re-censor the BD release, as the Japanese BD raws are uncensored.

Normally, if a judge doesn't want it to immediately get overturned on appeal, they would give legal explanations and citations in order to make the ruling as hard to overturn as possible if the case deserves to be thrown out. Which is why it was so dumbfounding that Chupp gave little to no explanation whatsoever.

Think they're only saying that because they got caught/the backlash got to be too much for them, but them being cheapskates in paying someone to censor something is a pretty funny theory. Still pressing X until someone can prove it on release they didn't pull another Tsugumomo.

You know for a bunch of people gloating that Vic never had a case and that he has no chance of winning on appeals, they seem to be on edge over it. It's like...they're dreading that Vic might win on appeals, even though we won't know for a while.
 
One look at the regular faggots across twitter showing they are scared as we expected them to be.
If things get reversed,there whole lives will be destroyed.
 
For being "right for over a year being on the right side of history" and "gloating about the expected epic win with the perfect reasoning of Chupp and super epic evidence&stories of the defendants" they're quite on the edge, like their whole life depended on Vic's lawsuit. For being "done with Vic" in January 2020, they sure are quite obsessed with him+Ty's team+Nick+us+literally everyone else not on their side and now they feel desperate and fearful of whatever is coming.
