I'm mostly ambivalent about RBG herself. What I find most amusing is the TDS salt by proxy her death is causing. The cheeto in chief has the very real chance to appoint three SCOTUS justices in his first term, and people are chimping out because of it.

I'm not a fan of abortion myself, so that doesn't help.

Ginsburg was on the progressive wing of the court and would therefore be inclined to rule in favour of immigration and against the second amendment. She was also pro-abortion if that comes up at SCOTUS again in future, though I really don't see Roe v Wade being overturned in today's age.

Personally I'm just glad we won't have a barely living 87 year old ruling on matters of massive national importance anymore.

Pretty much this, nobody gave a shit until she was dead, because once dead she can't say "no" anymore, thus they can just string her up like a puppet and make her say whatever they need, no matter how out of character or if she would had actually disagreed with them, her accomplishments on the court are irrelevant, the martyr is all they need, there's also the more transparent side who are calling her a whore because she choose to die under Trump rather than Obama, because in the dems eyes, she had outlived her usefulness and needed to be replaced as she was becoming a risk with each passing year and after she rejected Obama offer to step down she basically spit on all of them

Barbara Lagoa is a moderately conservative Latina judge and is notable for being the first Latina on the Florida Supreme Court

Allison Jones Rushing is an extremely conservative judge who seems to be more along the lines of a traditionalist faggot (or is it a traditionalist dyke?) against same-sex marriage for moral reasons and would be the first justice on the bench from the Millennial generation (she was born in 1982)

Personally, I think it will be either Lagoa or Barrett. Barrett's been rumored since Kavanaugh got in while Lagoa is both a woman and is not White while she also seems to be more of a corporate conservative based on what a Google search seems to indicate.

Barrett is against abortion which would give the Dems ammo while Rushing seems like she'd be the female version of Justice Hawthorne from the Salem Witch Trials or the President de Curval in 120 Days of Sodom.

However, Barrett has experience and is popular with both the pro-life crowd and the moderate types since she's more of a "I'm against abortion but I'll leave it to the states" type if she gets on the bench while Lagoa seems a lot more inoffensive and is a minority.

My money's on Barrett, followed closely by Lagoa.

There's plenty of ignorant guys in the thread, but it all started in reaction to one lady being an absolute sperg about Roe v Wade, talking about abortion soup in her bathtub and shit. Several of us have tried to tell her to 'lol calm down' but she's been going since last night, and just now finally shut up. I guess the tranquilizers kicked in.
