The anime and game are good so far.
 
I recommend The Legend of Heroes series. I'd always say start with Trails in the Sky but Cold Steel is fine if you want to dip your foot into the world without the multi game investment.

Just an update, I got ultrakill. Amazing, amazing game. Best movement shooter I have played in years. Good recommendation!
 
Recommending 3 games that are dear to my heart and can do with some attention.
First one is a "hardcore" dungeon crawler, 2nd is a co-op submarine management game and 3rd is is a buddhist fever-dream prey simulator.

I'm interested in two things (or both of them combined into one), a game where you live off the land as a frontiersman and a game where you run a pioneer farm and/or plantation. Frontiersman part is kind of covered by RDR2 - you can hunt and fish and forage - but it's not really built around that, it's just part of it. Farming Simulator and gay ass stuff like Stardew Valley exists, but I'm talking something that's not contemporary or cottagecore faggotry.

Are there any recommendations?

Uh...there's Unreal World. That's the most hardcore survivor sim I can think of but it's a roguelike and not an FPS.

HALO and Quake have collection bundles on Steam with a populated core of players. Cruelty Squad is fun.

Otherwise you could play Overwatch 2, Deadlock, Call of Duty, or Concord for your fast paced shooters.
