I don't understand how you are supposed to do the rejection elimination without cheats? The first Osana event requires you to have at least level one of chemistry to poison Senpai.

Edit: Amai's voice acting is so bad and cringey lol.

When going into the settings, I only got the options of 0 or 10m, only was able to get to 350m by setting everything to default. I've got no fucking clue what's going on entirely, but my assumptions are that the file that contains all of the settings like resolution, draw distance, v-sync, etc fucks up when you first start the game sometimes, and then the filestream just kind of sets it to certain defaults that aren't actually the game's proper defaults. I'm not entirely sure if that's the case, but that's what I've come up with
That's really funny honestly, every copy of yandere simulator uniquely fucks itself in a different way every time to mess with the player.

That's some next generation game design shit than even someome like Todd Howard wouldn't be able to achieve.

Thanks for the help, and I think I may have found the reason why the menu is like this.

The draw distance is set to fucking 0 by default.
I had to go into the settings and set it, now it's working.
Why there's an option for fucking zero is mind-boggling

Tried restarting and seeing whether it would fuck up again but it goes up to 350m by itself without having to touch anything and boots up normally.

He finally fucking did it, released Osana.
EDIT: If the game is giving you shit, delete EVERY yandere simulator file off of your computer and reinstall with the launcher. This way, there won't be any fucky problems with the pre-existing save on your computer, and we can make fun of Alex for fucking up this new build all on his own.

Here's the ending of the demo if you killed Osana.

What did the cutscene budget run out or something? It's literally a fuckin powerpoint. :story:
Voice acting's atrocious too, it's all stiff and rigid, and the girl sounds like nails on a chalkboard given form.

The blur he added is so effective that now i can't even see some of the students faces while i talk to them.

Jesus fucking Christ.

That looks like he just slapped on Unity's default depth-of-field component but didn't actually specify the depth of field distance it should be focusing on.

The part of the game everyone likes most, longass unskippable voiced cutscenes.

Wonder if this means we're actually going to get a crowdfunding campaign and meltdown this year.

The funniest part of this is that Alex in his mind thought "Yep, this is perfectly fine for release, no blatantly obvious or game-breaking bugs here"!

There's so much shit that's inherently flawed and confusing about this game so far, like how you can practically spam the compliment command with any student and get your rep up easily, these bitches that'll eventually pepper spray you if you bump into them too many times (i think they're student council members?), how rep seems to not really affect much, gossip working almost all the time even when you don't have shit for info on a student. I don't like open-world games much, but this is so fucking aimless that it's hard to actually do anything if you haven't played it before and figured it out. And besides that, there's a lot of odd technical issues, like how the FPS cap literally doesn't work (I set mine to 60 and it doesn't do shit).

Over 6 years and it's still a confusing mess technically and gameplay-wise
