Let's not forgot that he doesn't have any kind of real empathy. He told Sarah in front of Lainey he doesn't like to swim at the YMCA in the same pool with mentally handicapped people. Wouldn't he want to since their mothers carried them to term? This is under the assumption his moral beliefs have any merit at all and aren't just an excuse to publically humiliate his sister and ex.
