KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- An officer-involved shooting investigation is underway in Kenosha on Sunday, Aug. 23. The shooting happened near 28th Avenue and 40th Street around 5:11 p.m., after officers

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58 ) -- An officer-involved shooting investigation is underway in Kenosha on Sunday, Aug. 23.

The shooting happened near 28th Avenue and 40th Street around 5:11 p.m., after officers were called for a "domestic incident."

According to police, officers provided immediate aid to the person. They were transported via Flight for Life to Froedtert in Milwaukee for treatment. The person is in serious condition.

A large crowd gathered near the scene following the shooting.

Kenosha Sheriff’s Department and Wisconsin State Patrol were requested immediately so that the scene could be turned over to an agency other than Kenosha police.

The Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ), Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) will handle the investigation.

That's pretty vague looking. The report said the knife was on the floorboard on the driver's side, where Blake was reaching towards. So either he dropped it there, or it was already there and he was reaching for it.

"Blake appears to have told officers that he had a knife in his possession, the DCI said. Investigators later "recovered a knife from the driver's side floorboard" of Blake's vehicle and no other weapons were found, the agency said."

Rioters being coddled by police likely had a lot of them thinking they were seriously able to fight back against armed resistance rather than that they were being protected by the state every step of the way. Actually encountered people the other day that were angry over a convenience store employee trying to cheat them on the price of beer, guy apparently was trying to almost double the price and wouldn't dare scan the item to reveal what the price was really listed at. Yet they quickly gave up trying to argue with the guy, admitting to me they were afraid of something filming them and putting them on social media declaring them racist or some shit.

The far leftists rioting and various pet minorities have no idea just how pampered an existence they enjoy due to the fear their privileged existence has instilled in others.
 
These people don't realize that if they did this shit anywhere else, the consequences would be a lot more serious and permanent.

Kyle called the police immediately after shooting the guys. Antifa was actually complaining about that, claiming it meant he was in cahoots with the cops.

Actually, many others were openly wielding guns that night. Protesters were throwing things at locals who were on the roof of their business with guns, for instance. They were actively antagonizing armed people, assuming they wouldn't dare retaliate.

If a man is trying to beat you - even with his fists - then you have thr right to stop him doing that. Regardless of if he ends up dead because of it. A fight between two people on a street during a riot isn't a queensbury punching match; it's assymetrical war on a micro scale, you are not obliged to 'even the odds' by assuming the best of your attacker.

They know the more they shout and scream and the more false headlines they publish the more power they are gaining. They get immediate positive returns on everything they write and speak no matter how untrue.
