The problem with your approach is that you're relying too heavily on speculation while making broad assumptions about Greg that could very well be false. The whole purpose of this thread isn't to perform some deep-cover autistic gayops mission; it's to document and make fun of Greg's life for being a colossal trainwreck. No one's doubting that Greg's a legitimately awful human being who deserves the Nick Bate treatment straight into federal prison. However, it's not our job to mess with Greg and there's is an argument worth making that such actions cause much more harm than good in the scheme of things.
I get it: trolling worthless pieces of human trash is extremely cathartic. That's how the entire internet felt when 4chan raids used to be much more commonplace in the late 2000s and early 2010s. However, these "missions" to troll people who've abused their power on platforms like YouTube often have disastrous consequences. I don't like John Swan for being a self-righteous Britbong who thinks he has any impact on the Onision investigation, but he brought up a
lot of damning points against the Anti-O community in his
video explaining why he thinks Onision will most likely be a free man for the foreseeable future.
Onision and Kai had the cops and CPS called on them countless times, have had false DMCA claims levied against them, and on some measure, have been the target of much venom and vitriol on almost every media platform that they exist on. Said venom and vitriol are 100% justified, but it's not conducive to actual justice when anti-O failtrolls constantly cry wolf when Onision (at the moment) isn't technically
doing anything wrong. There's another problem here that a lot of anti-Os seem to overlook: that they focus so narrowly on their goal of having tangible consequences come to Greg and Kai to the point where they've run the risk of becoming out-of-touch with what Greg's
actually done.
Remember in late 2019/early 2020 when Greg would upload constant freakouts and vague, nonsensical rambling when he had hundreds of millions of eyes on him? Anti-Os were so busy laughing at the "meltdowns" and playing Onision bingo on Twitter to the point where they overlooked the fact that a
lot of these videos have remained monetised. While Patreon's removal was obviously a
huge blow, Greg's nowhere near as down on his luck as he seems. He's not a YouTube "juggernaut" like he was in years past, but he's still getting
some form of income from that platform; that's also ignoring all of his older videos that still get views in some capacity. He also still has some more obscure paywalls for his true believers that want to financially support him in some capacity. That number may be small, but it's still significant enough to be wary about. He was able to develop this network of paywalls and "exclusive" content for the few fans he has left while all of this drama about the grooming allegations and the Hansen investigation was going down.
To be absolutely clear here: I hate Greg and Kai and I wholeheartedly believe they deserve proper justice delivered by the long arm of the law. However, there are so many gaps in this particular situation to the point where tangible legal consequences might not come to them for a long time (if at all). Also, Greg isn't a criminal mastermind but he knows just enough to try manipulating the negative attention he receives in such a way where he can continue to act in the way that he does. As cynical as it sounds, there's always gonna be that niche group of people detached from reality who will buy into Greg's bullshit and get hurt in the process. So what else can we do?
There's always gonna be people who'll buy into his bullshit and we can't take out a collective restraining order on behalf of all vulnerable women or his kids. Failtrolling has been an absolute detriment to any tangible legal consequences that Greg may face AND narrowly focusing on one aspect of his life means we run the risk of falling out of touch with everything else he's done or is currently up to. The best we can do right now is to just archive his terrible content, discuss it on a forum where Greg has no control, and eliminate that element of power he may claim to have over the conversations being held about him. It might not seem like much, but any modicum of power taken away by Greg is always a minor victory worth celebrating.
