In elder-tranny-speak, before the appropriation of ‘cis,’ (circa 2012?) actual women were referred to as ‘Argie’ or ’GeeGee’ (RG= Real Girl GG= Genetic Girl) and cross dressers and MTF transitioners were TGirls.
I didn’t mind them so much back then, back before they fell off the edge of sanity and tried to take us all down with them.

How come so many zoomers think they have multiple personalities and think it's cool? The overlap between them and twitter troons is very high. First time I read "resident of a plural system" in a twitter bio I thought it was just a new edgy way to say we live in a society.

I wonder if it is teens trying to explain sudden mood swings as they hit puberty. Like "yesterday I was happy and today I am moody, there must be more than one person inside my head". And of course there are the people who just want to be special.

Plurals/alters/tulpas/DID/MPD have been around for a while on Tumblr. Could be a way to express feelings that they're not comfortable with owning. "Oh, it's not me saying/doing/feeling that, it's someone else in my head!"
