One of the great defects of modern society is that we have no shared culture: for instance, my boyfriend, highly intelligent and with like over fifteen years of education after high school, maybe has a dozen books he has in common with me. One of which is to kill a Mockingbird. Ugggh. The Greeks could be so creative with the same underlying material because they knew that their audience had been exposed to the same material as them. Our high culture has no prerequisites, you're not even expected to be familiar with the Bible. The closest we come is probably Harry Potter.

That's just a natural consequence of there being an unprecedented amount of media available to us. Cultural pre-requisites moved from "society-wide" to "subculture-wide". No one is required to know any story, even books we read in school aren't standardized anymore (and attempts to standardize them are all being pushed by the wokes). It's only when you join a community that was created for a purpose (be it an academic field or a fandom) that you're supposed to read/consume the minimum amount of media necessary to be taken seriously in that community.

Which is a long way of saying I am very interested in discussing the book with you and others: I am amazed that 38 people downloaded the pdf. Notably, the book was written before every autogynephile was Extremely Online and had collaborated to get their story straight with fake tales of childhood dysphoria, denial of masturbating to cross-dressing porn, etc

I'm about halfway through the book, and while so far I found no new information (most of that stuff was already discussed in the farms and I've been lurking for a long time), the fact that the book was published long before the Plague of Troons was unleashed upon the internet. The transgender people he's talking about there aren't getting their opinions off Reddit or Twitter (since those websites didn't exist yet), they don't have a standard narrative they're adhering to and they don't have institutional power, Their stories feel a lot more True and Honest (ironically) than what we read on r/traaaaans and other places in Current Year. Yet we can clearly see the kernels of what eventually evolved into the current narrative already.

That's a book that I feel deserves a follow-up by the author, exploring how things evolved since. Unfortunately, given people tried to cancel him back then, he'd be nailed to a cross if he tried it again in Current Year.

Trannies like to do this thing a lot (it’s something I’ve commented on before) where they think that because some people don’t have ALL of the qualities of a certain group (in this case: masculine looking women) that that means those people are somehow not a part of that group anymore. And just like I said before: what troons fail to realize is that being male or female is a mix-up of several small things that create the bigger picture. And very rarely, if ever, is a “cis” woman ever going to have every single signifier that humans use to differentiate between the sexes for people to ACTUALLY think she’s a man. Look at aidens — they’re women who PURPOSELY try to make themselves look as manly as possible and yet when you look at them in the flesh you can clearly tell that they’re female because they have more than enough female traits for people to clock them as female instead of male: height, body build, skull size, hand size, narrow shoulders, etc.

And that is why MtF trannies are clockable no matter how hard they try to conceal their male traits: because they still have more than enough visible male traits for people to be able to tell that they’re not female.

It doesn’t matter how butch a woman is. Unless someone is an absolute retard who only looks at makeup and long hair to differentiate between the sexes, if you put a butch woman next to a man people will easily be able to tell which one is female and which one is male. Because a woman having a masculine appearance doesn’t change the fact that she is still biologically female (same for a man, a feminine appearance, and being biologically male).

That is what trannies refuse to understand.

Women are not female because they have long hair, wear makeup, and act feminine. Men are not male because they have short hair, wear cargo shorts, and act masculine. You cannot throw a wig and makeup and some fake tits on a man and expect that to change his sex. He is still male, no matter what he does. His chromosomes are still XY and his body will always function the way male bodies are designed to function. If trannies could actually become female by doing all the dumb shit they do, they wouldn’t have to do all the dumb shit they do. They wouldn’t have to be on hormones for the rest of their lives, they wouldn’t need to dilate their stinkditches, they wouldn’t voice train, they wouldn’t put in the maximum amount of effort to achieve something that actual women can literally roll out of bed and have naturally.

The fact that they do all this shit at all proves that, no matter how feminine they are or how masculine “cis” women are, they are males. Females do not have to put in so much effort for people to be able to tell that they are female. The reason why masculine “cis” women can be masculine and not feel the need to fix whatever male traits trannies seem to think they have is because people will still be able to tell that they (actual women) are female. They don’t need to do shit to convince anybody of their femaleness. Their XX chromosomes does it all for them.

If you’re an overworked supermarket cashier and someone is say 5’6” and has short hair and is wearing loose, masculine clothing, then yeah, you’ll say ‘have a nice day, sir’. And many women are uncomfortable if they’re 5’11” or have a really deep voice or otherwise have a feature that’s masculine. Troons are aware of this. But they don’t understand that passing is, ultimately, about being someone you’re not, and the constant fear of discovery when you can’t hide it well enough. Surely they’ve all seen Disney’s Mulan and the fear on her face when they see her bound chest.

The point was that even if it's a tiny minority most people don't care about, they're loud enough that they have sway over important shit like government, entertainment, products/marketing, organizations made specifically for people that are not them, etc.

I think that far and away, the biggest takeaway from this thread and indeed all threads on troons is this: They are not born, they are made. I feel like the parenting mission on avoiding troonism is the same as avoiding drugs and cults, no? I guess I consider “passing” differently. For me, the idea of “passing” means actually interacting with someone for more than a few moments and being able to tell that they’re female/male. Just looking at someone in a passing glance or a brief interaction doesn’t count to me because our eyes can play tricks on us if we aren’t paying attention. So yeah, an overworked supermarket cashier might say “sir” after a brief interaction with a woman who has short hair and is wearing less feminine attire because they’re not actually paying attention to the person and their mind is on something else (their job). But if you put that same masculine woman and that same cashier in a room together and have them have a longer conversation with each other, the cashier would soon be able to tell that they’re talking to a woman and not a man.

That’s why some troons might pass to some people during a passing glance or after a brief interaction, but the longer people spend around a trans person the better they’re able to clock troons.

God I love reading tranny coping mechanisms. I really, really do. Maybe I’m a sadist, but I truly love reading mentally ill males try to cope with being male and doing all types of mental gymnastics to convince themselves that they’re female and always have been. It really makes being female that much more special to me. MtF trannies have made me appreciate my womanhood that much more because they want it so bad and yet they’ll never have it, but I got mine for free just by winning the genetic lottery.
