As the creator of the Slaton sisters thread, I feel the need to justify myself a bit here. The Slatons are in many ways both extremely similar and the polar opposites of this girl: they both have severe weight issues that are seriously detrimental to their health and lives, but in completely opposite ways. However, the Slatons' obesity are not the main reason they're funny. Their humor value relies in the fact that, despite their manifest size issues, they refuse to believe they suffer from any sort of problem and evidently believe they're too sexy for their fat. They have made a dominatrix video, Tammy (the fatter of the two) ascertains she has a "hourglass figure", they claim not to eat a lot despite the fact that their videos evidently point to the contrary, and their Amazon wishlist is clogged with junk food and lip balm of various sugary tastes. Even when one of the sisters was recently hospitalized, they kept claiming they are perfectly healthy. Although their situation is sad, the fact that they refuse to make any sort of attempt to make it better is what turns them into lolcows.

This girl, however, has done nothing funny or interesting. She's simply a normal person with severe anorexia. If, like the Slatons, she claimed to be a bodacious babe despite the fact that she looks like a goddamn skeleton, and insisted that her weight does not have any health risks, I could see how she could be humorous, as horrific as her condition is. But she doesn't, she fully acknowledges her problems and wishes to lead a better life, as far as I can see, so instead, the whole thing is merely extremely depressing. Laughing at her is a disgusting thing to do.
 
If she acted more like the Slaton sisters, I can see her being a sadcow. However, for the time being, she just has severe mental issues and does not seem to do anything that is considered milkable as of now.

I can understand not liking some of the lolcow threads, as we pretty much all have threads we don't see the humor in. Still, posts like this don't really serve any purpose and should be avoided.

Also, why do you have an account if you don't like any of the threads? Seems weird.

I'm guessing you didn't read anyone's posts here otherwise you'd know that most people don't consider her a lolcow.
 
I'm curious as to where the image of her on the right from the before/after photo in the OP is from. Neither her tumblr or twitter include a photo of her before she became anorexic, at least so far as I can tell, and since I don't have Instagram I can't verify it isn't there but I assume there likely aren't any photos from that time in her life.

Where did the image originate? Not because I care too much about what she used to look like, but because I'm interested to see if there are more images that inadvertently document her transformation into what is essentially flesh and bones.

Years ago she was a chan girl camwhore or something, who had a reputation for being a bit of a dick. Her internet following stemmed from there, and she's a massive attention whore who feeds on attention. She namefags in her own lolcow.farm thread, despite nobody really wanting her there.

She is a disgusting role model for recovering anorexics. She will send her fans food that is easy to binge and high in calories to tempt them into relapsing. She's also extremely manipulative, leading people to believe she doesn't have money for food when in fact she spends A LOT on junk food that she throws up.

Recently there was a scandal where she rang up another recovering anorexic and shouted abuse at her or some shit, basically Ashley is a bad enough person to be a lolcow. And she's very interacteable atm.

(It's 5am here sorry if that doesn't make sense).

Woah. This puts her from potential sadcow with severe mental issues to flat-out shuddercow/horrorcow. Ashely sounds like a fucking scumbag if this is how she treats those with serious eating disorders and tries to enable anorexia in those who are really suffering from it. Fuck that bitch.

Okay, I've now slept, let me try and write up a better introduction to Ashley Isaacs.

I only started following her within the last year, but I'll try and give as much info on Ashley, as well as some general info on the Tumblr/IG anorexia scene (I don't normally come to ballpit is there a thread for that?).

Ashley Isaacs, AKA Hamtaro-chan/Ghostinmypocket is a 24 year old woman (I know you were all wondering) who is severely anorexic and totally fine with it*. She has been suffering with anorexia since 2005, although at the age of 14 she was nowhere near as serious (she's even kinda called herself an ex wannarexic?).

I'm not great at armchair psychology, but I can repeat speculation I've heard from the other farms. Apparently if you go through Ashley's posts on tumblr, they reek of manipulative bullshit; she manipulates people into sending her things off her wishlist she "desperately" needs (having trouble finding screenshots, but examples are "my laptop's too bad to run WOW now, I need a new one ; I really wish there was something to eat in the house; my mum wont let me buy *item*; etc.") by making everyone around her feel sorry for her because of out-of-context posts like this. She also does the whole "waah nobody likes me" fishing for compliments thing, which is a personal pet peeve.

People who see through her manipulative veil are usually met with unnecessary aggression. It's a mixture of anonfaggotry aggression and THIS IS ME, IF YOU DONT LIKE IT LEAVE.

If that was the end of her problems, I don't think she'd be lolcow territory, just a hangry anorexic. HOWEVER, she lurks the anorexia scene, waiting for the right time to become some poor girls Skeletal Godmother - she's often spotted in the comments section of other "recovery" anorexics** IG photos, feigning "support" but it's obvious that's not the goal (if a girl gets better, Ashley starts to cut off contact). She's shared purging tips on their photos, and is always there to white knight them from the odd person who says "I know you're in recovery, but you're not gaining weight. Are you sure you're okay?"

I've tried to compile a timeline of her decline, but I'm not 100% sure on it.

Those photos are from like 14-16, the last being in 2007. In 2007, shit hit the fan, her mother found out about the camwhoring; Ashley tried to kill herself, resulting in her being hospitalised. Whilst she was there she gained a bit of weight too.

I've really bummed myself out looking for these screenshots :c.

Ashley's attitude to her illness is perplexing. She is very aware that it will kill her, and she seems to embrace this, sometimes in an edgelord way. It's super fucking sad finding her teenage blog posts about this shit, she saw (maybe still sees?) it all as some stupid competition. When people have shown concern in the past, the reply has usually been "you don't know my situation", which has lead to some weird speculation that Ashley is terminally anorexic and is unable to recover due to the damage on her body, but this is unsourced and doesn't sound medically true.

They're kinda like the opposite of wannarexics. Their internet profiles are supposed to show them gaining weight and beginning to eat normally, but these girls in "recovery" aren't getting better at all; they're maintaining or even still losing weight from their unhealthy frame. They say they are recovering purely for asspats, "you're so inspirational for fighting this disease", and get pretty cagey when people say they're not looking any better.

The things some of these girls do to just make it APPEAR they're eating is insane. Food ripping, photos of food with no bites taken out of then thrown away, smearing ice cream on they lips for a photoshoot then spending hours making sure they don't "absorb" all the calories from it :o it's all very interesting in a morbid way.[/spoliler]

I'll write up something about her dramas at some point, there's a basic bio.
 
I'd be really interested in seeing the posts where she allegedly encouraged recovering anorexics to embrace their illness and destroy themselves (that's Charles Manson territory).

Okay, drama time.

Erika is another anorexic girl with an IG following, who was friends with Ashley (possible sexual ties?). Ashley fell head over in heels in love with Erika and when their friendship broke down, Ashley rang her to hurl abuse. There is some other stuff between them, but everyone is vague with details for Erika's sake.

There are several other girls, such as somebody on the other farms namefagging as Twatwaffle, who have come out and said similar things. Twatwaffle said that she was a close friend of Ashley for years online, and regularly posts big posts like this:

And as if "videos" will "tell the truth." Ashley, suck a fucking tailpipe. You've spun so many versions of "the truth" over the years that YOU don't even know what it is anymore. You literally don't even know what set of your own lies to believe.

Typical Ashley Isaacs bullshit cycle (from personal experience):

- saccharine sweetness/manipulation to get attention/presents
- turn into total cunt once it's discovered she's yet again just using people
- when called out, play victim and give "her side" or "the truth"
- repeat

As for why she hides presents that aren't giftcards? Little missy was getting 30-40something year old neckbeards to mail her shit when she was underage and flashing her twat on stickam. Sometimes she lucks out and UPS doesn't come until after Rebecca leaves for work, but when she's not so lucky, well.

Since she can't get attention for being a hobag anymore, it's all about the poor frail starving trashley.

For someone who claims to be supportive of others' recovery, she's seriously anything but. Make no mistake that Trashley is very very VERY pro-ana and has been the 2-3 years I've known her.

She'll follow/comment on recovery blogs and Instas basically to encourage them to 'get fat.' Everything is a fucking competition to Trashley. If these (mostly) girls get "fat," then in her eyes she's "winning." More than once she referred to people who chose to recover from their eating disorders as "sellouts."

- When I chose to give my 100% to recovery she instantly went from saccharine sweet to passive-aggressive bitch who would make the worst comments and basically try to undermine my recovery and my decision to get fucking healthy. I don't know if this is entirely her bullshit "competition" mentality or if she's just really bitter she has zero resolve to put herself into new/vulnerable/HEALTHY territory, or…what.

- I'm too broke to shower her with presents all the fucking time. In fact, I never sent her a damn thing (thank god). I live on a ridiculously fixed income and barely have money for a cup of coffee at Starbucks once a month, let alone buy a 24 year old woman dvd's and plastic toys.

- The "black Twitter" post that I've seen here isn't the only time she's been racist. She was markedly more rude to me when I disclosed that I'm not white (I'm white-passing). A few conversations involved her bitching about illegal immigrants being "welfare queens."

I can't say I went through the exact same situation with Ashley as Erika did, but there are more than a few similarities. We were both sick and just looking for someone to commiserate with, and instead ended up with someone who was more parasitic than symbiotic. I used to be a lot more angry about the whole situation than I am (and I admit I still am a little), but well…sigh I don't know. Without getting "personal journal" I'm just focusing on my mental/physical health before everyone else's, or trying to.

The giveaway gift baskets of junk food may seem innocent, but I've been informed that recovering anorexics are encouraged to keep away from foods that will tempt them into purging. Almond Butter is often requested by anorexics as a binge food as its smooth and doesn't hurt coming back up. She gives away obvious binge food, here's a couple of photos of them.

Sorry I'm not doing too well finding incriminating screenshots :oops: the Ashley threads are a bit of a clusterfuck on /pt/ as they include other anorexics.
