I can see streaming eventually being regulated, and needing a broadcasting license to stream in the future, having to follow FCC guidelines and all the other shit tv/movies have dealt with for 100yrs

hopefully it's similar to how the FCC issue fines for ppl swearing, or for advertising to children on a Sunday morning

& you're right though, we are probably 10yrs away from the average time for legislation to catch up & regulate a new market
So 15 years away from Phil finding out he hadn't bothered to read up on the laws surrounding his own business, and an accompanying meltdown stream due to his tax guy not informing him he was supposed to have paid a licence for the past 5 years.

I'm only rating you optimistic because you think Phil with his pickled gin brain and radioactive stomach lining thanks to the microwaved hungry man dinners will be alive in 15 years.

He's looking older and goutier every day. I can't imagine kids wanting to watch some dude older than their dad play like shit and whine.

Just kids that don't have dads that play video games... And then subsequently have to pay tons of money for hospice care for them.

It comes full circle.

The minute possibility it was a troll was destroyed the moment the account name was changed.

I'd say it was destroyed once NotDSP started to avoid every sort of contact to people interested in knowing if he's Phil.

A troll would have wanted to have fun with this. A troll would have come here to post in this thread pretending that he's Phil pretending to be someone else.

But we got nothing. Just silence and a coward who runs away from any kind of confrontation and who just isolated himself in his little bubble.

Kinda like someone we all know and hate.

You COULD argue that a troll would decide to line their actions up with Phil's words and do what we expect Phil to do, like change their name in a futile attempt to hide. I mean, as crazy as someone would have to be to perform this kind of gay op, for it to be a troll, they've proven they're smarter than Phil is, so they would know that changing the name is just going to make us laugh at Phil being a dumbass. They know we wouldn't be fooled, regardless of it being a troll or Phil.

No, what really throws a wrench in the works with the name change is Phil's reaction upon DownFromTheRafters first being referenced in the chat. He could not have looked any more taken by surprise that anyone knew about that, or less convincing in acting like he didn't know what that meant. It stands in stark contrast to all the other times where Phil has engaged in bad acting, because at least in those cases (like Road Warriors, which was AFTER, and therefore he was prepared that time ), he didn't look so shocked, he saw it coming and one could argue that that's, atthe very least, because he reads KF (which doesn't HAVE to be out of guilt, though I'm sure it is). Also, see the time someone tipped him and he deliberately didn't read aloud the entire message because the tipper was talking about his spat with Rekieta. DownFromTheRafters is definitely what it looks like when someone catches him off guard.

Yeah that reaction was VERY bizarre. He looked shook.

Yep. Probably decided to start reading here a lot more after that, so he doesn't get caught giving himself away like that again.

Just thought of something else: If someone has that kind of time and money on their hands, why use it to take a gamble on something like this when they could easily do some SOK level digging and get actual dirt that Phil can't lie his way out of? That everyone would get way more laughs out of? I've never tried to hire a hacker, but I imagine $40k could get you the services of one capable of getting into Phil's computer and phone.

I mean, what's funnier: the strong possibility that Phil pisses his money away on a wrestling mobile game, or knowing for a fact that during The Incident he was jacking it to gay porn because that's literally the only kind he has?

Watching through old videos remembering the time Phil said everyone was gullible for calling out Shadow of War's microtransactions (you know, before he rage quit and called the game a cash grab where fun is gated behind microtransactions), and I stumble across this gem which made me think a lot about Phil's addiction:
"So if you really want to complain about something, complain about human nature. Complain about humans who have all this disposable income and instead of putting it towards something productive and important they put it towards something stupid and they take shortcuts, okay. That's the real problem here -throat clear-. Because the bottom line is if human nature was disciplined and if humans had some kind of self fucking control, right, you wouldn't have microtransactions at all because no one would spend money on them."

"It's the consumer's fault that they come in and dump all this fucking money in to these kind of games. As I said on my prestream yesterday it's a lot about mobile games. Mobile games are 100% pay to win 100% gambling. Okay? They are! Mobile games are the worst offenders of this syndrome of pay pay pay pay for lootboxes and random unlocks in the game. Okay? -snort-."

Have you ever heard the tragedy of DarksydePhil the retarded? Ironic. He could bitch to others about mobile addictions, but not himself.

This reminds me of Rush Limbaugh in the early 2000s when he was addicted to pain pills (OxyContin in particular) and was calling for drug users/ opiate abusers to be thrown in jail.

Same shit with the pig right here. This is actually pretty typical of people with hidden addiction issues where they often publicly decry whatever they're hiding as stupid and hurtful while doing the very same they're criticizing in secret. Partly to hide their shame, partly to deflect potential suspicion. Not surprising that the pig would be talking shit publicly about something he's hiding from everyone.

I think the central motif of this 12-year-long performance art piece is projection: everything wrong with the world is contained within this man, and he never stops criticizing himself

Phil's reaction to the name changes getting found out was about as convincing as his denial of the red vest people saw with their own eyes.

Red vest? What red vest? There is no red vest! What are you guys talking about?

Did he ever explain why he blatantly lied about owning the red vest? Did he ever admit to getting caught out, or that the "surprise" was ruined?
Yeah, he lied because he had to.

Just like with Jasper. Just like his wedding. Just like his bankruptcy.

Phil always tells the truth, except when it might hurt him or his income. And if his income is hurt, his wife and cat son will also be hurt.

Why would Phil lie about sinking tens of thousands of dollars into WWE Champions? Maybe because it could hurt his ego or his income. Reasons Phil has specifically said he will lie about to prevent from happening.

He has to lie about things to protect his family dude.

Because they are not addicted! They can stop at any time! It's everyone else that has bugged addiction mechanics.

I was waiting to try to get this verified by another source but it looks like DSP deleted his Discord so I'm late to the game. I told my chat I would post what I had. I didn't see this information before and I think this is the most relevant place to post it:

I was given DSP's 18 digit Discord code, which is 100% unique. Even if everyone tomorrow changed to TheyCallMeDSP#4058, this is a code that uniquely identifies everyone who uses Discord. For example:
1597500782631.png
The website is discord.id for the record.

Now I didn't screencap the DSP one ahead of time because I was going to do it when I wrote this post, but the account is now deleted:
1597500824183.png

EDIT: Here is the DSP account before the deletion:
1597517444216.png

So I can't show you that the name was "TheyCallMeDSP#4058" like its always been. I can show you that the avatar was the same as his Twitter avatar with a different cropping:
1597500964026.png
Discord

1597500982778.png

Twitter (accessed via wayback machine before the DMCA strikes)

It's hard to see because the Twitter avatar picture is so small, if you look at how the picture is centered, the Discord one shows more of his chest on the bottom and is closer to the top of his head.

This is important because if it was a fake DSP they would have only been able to get the Twitter picture which would have the same cropping when uploaded to Discord, or they could have trimmed it closer, but they can't make part of the picture that isn't there show up unless they had the original photo.

The account look up shows that the Discord was created back on March 29th, 2018. I wonder what happened that day that would have prompted DSP to make a Discord account then?

So if this is a fake DSP on Discord, this imposter made a Discord back when DSP was banned and talking to his contact on Discord, and sat on it for nearly two years until the WWE Champions arc?

EDIT: The account was created not even 30 minutes after banning. Mrs Wagginz cheered at 22:00 UTC on that day:
1597517776846.png

Timestamp is 6:28 in case it doesn't work. And the video cuts off 4 minutes later when he's banned.

No troll is just going to sit on a Discord like that until something supposedly created by some other troll comes along, it would HAVE to be the same crazy-ass troll playing the longest, stupidest game ever. Which is just ridiculous.

Not to mention the biggest factor of all: Phil's reaction to DownFromTheRafters being mentioned in the chat. That was legit shock at seeing something people weren't supposed to know.

It has been Phil all along, and I have absolutely no doubts whatsoever. Literally NOTHING has come up to indicate that it isn't him. The only way to think it's a troll is to simply decide to think it's a troll, in spite of how much more insane that is than the idea of Phil Burnell being a closet mobile gaming addict who intends to never admit to the truth.
