Maybe it would be easier for you to finish smaller projects. Instead of jumping immediately to writing a novel, maybe start with a few short stories or a novella. Hell, try writing a serial. As long as you have an outline for where you want the story to go, you'd be able to write it in smaller sections as motivation allows.
