Who knows? He could be out on bail or something for all we known. You bring up a good point though. If they did have concrete evidence on the guy he'd be picked up, but if it was on TOR from what I understand its untraceable.

Problem is anytime the government gets involved in something, it's not going to be good. To justify their time, they will look for things. It's the old, 'I stopped you for speeding but saw on open bottle in the car so you are going in for something'. That would make anyone nervous. I'm sure no one would want the government looking through your stuff. Plus you don't know what you might accidentally say they might take the wrong way or misinterpreted. It's got to be stressful.

Of course it would be nerve racking if feds "searched" your computers if you are considered "problematic" by an SJW forensic investigator it wouldn't surprise me if planting digital evidence became a thing in the near future.
 
What I think is so interesting about the Gahoole thing is they went hard on him it sounds like. Took everything. Yet Andy and Ralph do the CP stream, and nothing. Very strange. I don't know if it's the different municipalities or that the FBI and not local police were involved, but the difference is striking.
