Personally I think his content is pretty amusing too, but I think some people just feel like his delivery is boring / monotonous, and seem to dislike him for a similar reason they dislike YouTubers that will just read cwcki articles and not add anything new to the conversation. Don't quote me on this though since these are just my assumptions based on what I've personally seen people say about his content
