From what I’ve read about Japanese war brides, a lot of marriages were still being arranged by relatives before and during the war. At the time a huge portion of Japanese men saw their wives as essentially domestic servants they could fuck and take their anger out on after a bad day at work. It was the marriage culture of the militarized Japanese Empire in that era. Not only the financial prospects of getting out of the country, but the “ladies first” attitude of American GIs won Japanese women over easily.

J25 and Portland are proof that Trump doesn't need the OK for federal law enforcement and the Insurrection Act shows the NG/Military can be deployed in a State with out the governor's consent.
