The original Black Panthers were based and fought for all races and peoples. I've heard many interviews with ex Black Panthers over the years and they brought up how they wanted actual racial justice and not for Black people to suck on the tit of mommy govt and break up their families. More like the old school actual Marxist revolutionaries in Cuba and Latin America and less like the pampered socialist "revolutionaries" of Europe and Anglo America.

If what you mean is that Communists (at least in the USA) are fucking worthless hypocrites, I can get behind that. "We destroyed the village in order to save it" is a sentiment that has never worked.

They weren't all based - Huey Newton was killed by a black gangbanger in the street, and the Black Panthers themselves were notoriously corrupt and were deeply involved with black street gangs like the Black Guerrilla Family, and groups like the Black Liberation Army spawned 'black-thought' from the Black Panther ideosphere; while Newton had a good list of ideas and people like Stokely Carmichael (imo, the sort of Panther you're referring to) were genuinely good people and willing to engage even my own in the middle of debate (i.e. the televised debate between Stokely Carmichael and Rockwell, where both of them ended up just being harassed by a Jewish narrator and interviewer from the moderate left.), there were a litany of 'thugs', and unfortunate radicals in their mass movement who did nothing but contribute to the furthering of their own personal Overton window.

They denounced the 'New Black Panther Party' and rightfully so as fringe-locked lunatics but for one that ideology is no longer locked to the fringe in the black community, hotepism is widespread and secondly the New Black Panther Party had stragglers that drifted from the BLA and BP subsequent to their societal and internal collapse; the Black Panther group was notoriously divided amongst itself in right-wing and left-wing camps, and this was another thing that contributed to it's destruction - the White Panther movement was created because Black Panthers told them to create it, and it was entirely an allied Communist movement consistent of jews, radical hippies, and militant leftists, it was the result of asking Huey Newton himself how to aid the Black Panthers.

Mind you, such deranged leftism such as the Symbionese Liberation Army which was completely unconnected to black nationalism has to be remembered as well.

What was her logic behind that connection? My brain hurts.:stress:

One of the major problems with teaching history is just how much there is to teach and so little time to teach it when confined to semester and class time limits. Given that you are also forced to allot time to whatever topics those in charge of writing the history curriculum deem required, in more generalized history courses it's usually way too much to give any topic proper depth. Topics are often skimmed and proper context is lost, such as what factors created an outbreak of war, in favor of: "These countries went to war, Side A is Good while Side B is Bad, here are a couple big fights and some tragedies committed by Side B, Side A beat Side B."

Taking from my own experience, almost every "overview" history course I've had to take as a per-requisite to check off a needed course for graduation or to allow enrollment in "focused" history courses were terribly dull and uninformative. There were some exceptions, but that was more due to having good professors that used their time well. In "focused" courses there's much more breathing room for a teacher because they typically focus on a specific time range or location and can split their courses into several parts, you'll still have some skimming but to a much smaller degree. I would say that most history courses outside of a university environment fall into the "overview" history category and, again based on my own experience, were just blow off courses for both the students and teachers.

This is of course thrown out the window entirely when your teachers are ideologues that can't be professional and instead teach a skewed version of history to fit their own agenda, intentionally leaving out historical details that make "their side" look bad. You also have the problem of postmodernists working their way into historical study and other important fields to stink up the place with "everything is subjective!" while they ramble off strings of intentionally dense techno babble meant to make themselves look "academic" only to make it nearly impossible to figure out what the fuck they're arguing or how the "evidence" they use is related to their topic.

I had to take specialized courses to learn anything about Chinese history, which was very informative, especially when it got to talking about Mao because my professor (Chinese) clearly had no love for him or the CCP. We had an entire class just on Tiananmen Square, along with a class on the lead up and aftermath of it, where the documentary The Gate of Heavenly Peace was a required watch (if anyone has 3 hours to spare here's part 1 and part 2).
Because it isn't Antifa and the AltLeft doing this. It's the Fed boys coming in and attacking. Naturally, the Feds are going into Portland and causing the violence, hence Krystalnatch (?). I'm not even sure that creature is my sister anymore. I didn't even bother to check my brother's posts after seeing the Antifa PFP, I went full DFE before them and the rest of the cultists realized I'm a Centrist Nazi. Thank god they live in a different part of my province.

I need to talk to my dad and make sure his will is ironclad, I don't need them coming up and trying to take his shit when he passes. I'm the only actual blood child of his, Mom was a degenerate hippy. I love the woman, but I'm kind of afraid for my safety now, directly from my sister's words with me last night over the phone.

I'm not a smart man but I can see people's actions and words not lining up. Pretty funny that the "slower, youngest" sibling is the only one that didn't fall for the cult.

The main difference is that exactly. Early movements and even some of the later ones did come from a place of actual injustice.

The Mafia basically ran Cuba until Castro and Che. Ok, both were utter bastards in their own right too, but they were fighting for their own injustices and issues within Cuba which had popular support.

The Black Panthers can be seen as largely the same, they formed in an era in which segregation was still a thing and being black in the wrong neighborhood at night would get a cop on you very quickly. Malcolm X was within the same vein as Dr King in that only by moving to true colourblindness could everyone get a fair seat at the table. Their militantism was, in some ways, derived from the same rebellious nature that sparked off the American Revolution. They felt the black community was not being represented properly, and only through a militant collective bargaining position could the lot of the black man be met.

It is fascinating seeing these moments in history which should've been the start of something, only to see other forces, or for certain laws to be passed which lessened the pressure.

They got Simpothy McVeigh, aka the White Knight for the Athena bitch, aka the improvised bomber from two nights ago, aka 'granny bought me a vest and left a review with my pic as a lead to me':

This seems to corroborate what a self-professed brother of him said on Twitter, on how they grew up in foster care and the bomber is a misguided kid who just got out of a correctional facility (and preyed on by Antifas):

I am combing the 4chan thread for more infos and eventually edit this post with moar.

EDIT: Name could be also Gabriel Sebastian Eckert, via grandma's posts:

The culprit posting pics of himself with the vest (the first one is the same used in the review by grandma that allowed 4chan to recognize him after the simping and the bombing):

A good recap of the original 4chan investigation on Twitter by @animegorilla:

EDIT 2: You can't make this shit up, look at the handle of his grandma's Twitter (the tweet was posted one day before the bombing):

I feel this guy being an antifag is just him never growing out of his teenage rebellious phase.

It's why I'd rather have the opposition of old - Rockwell felt the same during that point in time; it's far better to have respectable opposition that were willing to talk (people like Stokely Carmichael advocated for the mass-exodus back to Africa, preaching that black people would feel at home, finally, in black lands, not searching for purpose in a land they came already indebted to in bitterness.) and better to have opposition that makes sense - at least many of the Panthers were masculine men, feminine women, normal people, who fought for a struggle they perceived as righteous and had structured ideology.

Truly, I'd rather fight the Communists, black nationalists, and anarchists of old, but a symptom of modernity is the fact your opposition is nothing more than an entire horde sprung forth from the Twilight Zone of modern-day academia and suburbia.

They are all a bunch of privileged children who would melt like a paper wall before the hurricane if they actually got their wish and the "revolution" escalated to full on violence. It cannot be repeated enough that these larping faggots don't know what true violence is, or what it means to be on the receiving end of it and having to respond in kind.

Some of them, most of them, yes - but there's a small chunk of them that are fully accelerated towards violence and the more violence they meet and see in the street is merely a matter of experience-building; that small hardened core is enough to drive the rest of them back into the flame, time and time and time again.

Once the train that is Marxist militarism starts rolling, it doesn't stop until the train is destroyed.

There is some awkwardness to that, as across a lot of the southern states (Flordia, Georgia, Arkansas etc) the slaves didn't come from Africa, but from several generations of families in the Carribbean who had either partially settled, or already morphed into the Afro-Carribean culture we know today. Even if they'd all gone back to Africa, as Liberia showed the place would be near alien to them.

True, but
1) As of right now, few people are pushing pack
2) the smarter ones among them play the long game and ultimately wish to seize the reins of power.

To tell you the truth, a lot of the 'mass-exodus' wing of the Panther movement and within the Black Liberation Army weren't exactly historically-wise people, they were just emotionally reactionary black Americans who'd come to perceive the West as an inborn hostile land to black culture and black living as a whole, not necessarily just America, and believed that the only way blacks could find 'peace' was by settling within Africa, aka 'black lands' as Carmichael called it - interestingly, during the debate between him and Rockwell, Rockwell brought up the existence of Liberia and Carmichael claimed Liberia was the result of giving educated blacks a nation and then subsequently ignoring them, which was just patently untrue considering Liberia served as a knowing vassal to the U.S. for a while and contributed to certain international Western efforts; other parts of the Black Nationalist sphere were very much localized to America, and wanted some form of 'black indigenous soil' to be recognized within the United States as the ultimate reparation to slavery.

I don't chastise these men for having been historically-unaware and having such a kneejerk reaction considering the racial environment and make-up of their time - I do, however, chastise marxists for being retarded in the age of information, as should anyone.

Push back comes later, the more this burns, read a bit of history and you'll see we've been here before and it always plays out the same way - the push back is always much worse, and much more organized due to the nature of the right; just as well, it's wise to remember that fires like this burn slowly - don't get too apocalyptic, we'll have lulls of quiet and lulls of silence where we can collect ourselves and bicker amongst each other.

I wouldn't expect 'freikorps' to manifest anytime soon out of the legions of coalitioned right-wingers, but do recall that just as their mass movement quietly grows in response to the further distribution of information, so too does the opposition - we're in for bad times, but these aren't the bad times..I'd simply take these times to learn and know our enemy and watch as he takes moment after moment to bite chunks of himself out.

Demographics are what I listen to.
Demographics aren't destiny, despite what it looks like (well, not necessarily at least), because it assumes that politics are static. Democrats of 20 years ago weren't trying to push identity politics to extreme ends, muh reparations, etc.

30 years ago Clinton/Gore was sending out campaign buttons with the much-maligned Confederate battle flag out and no one gave a shit.

you're missing a key fact which when confronted with actual confrontation they'll puss out like a bitch.

Exactly, we're due for another realignment and a Seventh Party System is the kind of thing that could make "Demographics Is Destiny" another failed canard alongside "Mission Accomplished", "Hope and Change", "Read My Lips", "I am not a crook", and "I did not have sex with that woman, Miss Lewinsky"

If Trump wins a second term then I expect the Seventh Party Era to begin more quickly, while a Biden win will probably slow it down by a few years but not stop it completely.

None of my teachers were particularly right-wing growing up but I remember that in American history, Cesar Chavez was never covered (despite being in the textbooks) simply because of a lack of time in school year. Even after learning about him on my own time, I don't really see him as anyone to name anything after, though...just because you're important doesn't mean you need to be honored.

Didn't he beat up illegal immigrants in the border because they were willing to cross picket lines?

Very few people on either side of the fence know back farther than the foundation myths of the last century.
In their mind, this time will be different. Smart people don’t become communists. If anything, they pretend to become communists and then kill off the red guard so they can seek power. People don’t seem to understand that you can’t have the world these social justice assholes or communists want without totalitarianism and oppression.

Cesar Chavez is the Mexican version of Christopher Columbus.

He did some noteworthy stuff but he's mostly celebrated because the ethnic group he's identified with needed somebody to elevate as a matter of pride.
