Y'know I agree, RWBY is one of few fandoms the fanfics make more sense than the actual series. So why bother watching the real thing?

I think Yssa's getting fired if she keeps saying dumb shit like that. :story:
 
So where can I see this teaser, i can't make any informed opinions until I actually see it and not some neckbeard's analysis.

That's not entirely uncommon in animation, some TV shows get pretty far in terms of writing thanks to multiple writers working on it. Still, I don't hold any confidence in this considering how they can barely write a season while it's in production.
 
The smiles during the Ace Ops fight just shows the worst part of this attempt at a moral conflict of ideologies (even if it wasn't clearly biased to try and make Team RWBY look good). These girls have witnessed a man they supposedly respected, a man who always put their comforts and the needs of his people first and destroyed every last piece of himself just for the sake of protecting people, break down. They are forced to fight friends who are just doing what they think is right and bear no ill will towards the team. They are trying to save a city from utter destruction. And they treat it with arrogance and vanity. They don't try to convince Ironwood, they don't try to appeal to his character and come form a place of understanding why he thinks this is right, they don't try to convince the Ace Ops to stand down or that all this will do is damage Atlas's defenses. No, they're not even the least bit sympathetic to the fall of a comrade. They smugly mock them, stand atop a moral high ground, looking down on these people and lecture them. They don't admit that it's hard for them to fight friends, they spit out quips about how much better they are than their opponent and grin about kicking their asses.

That is what makes them come off so terribly. In contrast to all the other characters who very clearly display how much it hurts to commit these acts even if they think they have to do them. Ironwood's called the Tin Man, and yet he displays more heart and humanity than any of the main characters ever do. They're not good people doing uncomfortable things, they're arrogant bastards looking for an excuse to do uncomfortable things.

Because out of many fanatics I've encountered before, they're often the loudest, aside from one brit lesbian I forgot the name of but want to champion the Bees so much that she would publicly laugh about it with her peers.

So I'm not sorry to say the Canadians need to sort their shit out and don't be a fucking animal over a fucking fictional show.

Canadians are always assholes, no idea where this belief that they're all super polite came from.

SBFP showed me that Canada isn't all just pretty cities and stuff. Quebec (I think?) tends to have potholes no one does anything about.

Though I guess shitty construction crews is an everywhere problem, just some tends to be worse than others (going off of Bernie's Construction rants)

They have say maybe 2 or 3 "confirmed" LGBT characters, none of them are relevant to the show itself, I'm sure one of them only gets called as such in a fucking book no one read, a lot of shipbaiting that only exists on their heads and...that's it? Now no one else gets to like RWBY if they're not part of the alphabet group? What?

Compared to the shit some tumblrinas can go to, this is museum worthy, at least aesthetic wise. Seriously tho, tumblr artists are nightmare creators. Their "art" is a sleep paralysis demon of it's own. Hell, just compared to the official DC comics version, this feels like it has more soul to it.

Or maybe I just have even lower standards with RWBY now than usual. But I surprisingly don't mind these.

Also, ironically, this has better clothing than the pruddish, nonsensical fuckeries RT gave us last volume. Seriously, blatantly ripping off designs aside, how many zippers can you fill in a bitch?
