An (adult) acquaintance of mine just got the surgery and has been blogging the whole thing. Functionality was discussed and his doctor has assured him that he will have all the good sexy feelings in a few months. There was very little oversight and from what I hear, the only people who tried to talk him out of it were already opposed to him being trans, so he dismissed them out of hand. The surgeon he went with is new to doing the precedure and her reddit reviews complained that she always say everything looks "Great! Beautiful! Perfect!" even if the patients are unhappy with their results.Dead eyes:

The kid's a goner.
I'm curious as to what these immoral surgeons (aside from Jazz's) tell these teen trannies and their families about SRS: Do they honestly talk about functionality or lack thereof? Is anyone who claims to want surgery ever actively discouraged from having it done based on assessments or criteria, or is it a free-for-all?
