I think so. If you remember back to the Chariman Pao days, the site really clearly was not sure what it was or what it wanted to be. It takes a while for the full reverberations of dumb decisions to make their way through a company, so combine those aftershocks with a general cooling in the west on social media in general. I believe Reddit's -still- had a leadership and a funding problem that's been rolling on, which makes it easier and easier for it to become captive to interest groups within its organizational structure.

Like most things, these trannies saw black people getting attention during the whole 'we at business really do care, so we're going to proceed to do some unimportant thing so you retards stop spamming our email' and decided that they needed some of that good-good. Gay men like lace and frills because they simply do, or because they want to imitate a beloved female actress or singer. Troons like it because it turns them on. Being seen as a woman is part of the appeal, not merely wearing dresses.

But no one is going to stand up for Terfs and as we're seeing now, any community associated with terfs is getting delisted. Its hard to propagandize something when you don't have a platform to stand on to do so.
