These protesters aren't very good. They disabled a few cars then just got sort of walked backward by a handful of cops and now they are just milling around recording stuff on their phones. These "natives" seem to be all white people.

If you take your fucking child to a protest you know will turn violent (unlawful assembly, blocking traffic to a PRESIDENTAL Event) you need your kids taken away because you sure as hell ARE NOT FUCKING ACTING IN THEIR BEST INTEREST.

Their allegation is that the USA broke the treaties, and the land "has always been" owned by the Lakota and the colonizers are trespassing. Therefore under "the bad man clause" they can arrest all these illegal colonizers. :story:

Being fair, the U.S. did break the treaty though the Supreme Court determined the correct recompense was monetary compensation.

By the way, if treaties are the law of the land then the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo must be valid too. Such, any claims that U.S. stole land from Mexico is therefore invalid.

Yeah, everyone knows the treaties for NA's were broken and treated like shit. But at this point, it's pointless for people to demand compensation anymore and any/all cash given to NA's going straight to corrupt leads or shitty tribal court figures.

Honestly, the best thing you can do as native is just leaving the res as fast as possible, never drink and just tell tech people you are actually Indian for an entry-level tech job.
