Lord Bitcoin has modified the update to largely say things are still status quo from the prior update.

I am morbidly curious if Rich's mom is the attorney that Team Bitcoin is parleying with.
 
I'm sure Jeffrey didn't even want to make this potential deal public, since it could fall through at any time. Reene kind of forced his hand by making two inept announcements before that, basically going "It is with a heavy heart that I announce we will all keep working as normal. What, did you expect me to give up my internet authority? It's all I have!"

Everyone was like "Uh Reene is a garbage person, useless as an admin, and helped cover up abuse. Why is she still even here?" So Jeffrey had to scramble to do some damage control before the forums got burned down.
 
I dunno, is utter delusion a problem with this girls generation? Do they not understand... reality? There is now a tonne of evidence that she's a complete nutso addict who destroys anything she touches. An employer doing even two minutes of due diligence will discover it. She is utterly unemployable in the mainstream corporate world. And yet... her LinkedIn is still up like she's some big girl businesswoman. Logan, you can become, like, a tattoo artist or a prostitute. Maaaybe, you could pivot into social work. Goldman Sachs is NOT going to hire you. Shit, a normal retail bank is not going to hire you.

Self promoting millennials without any actual accomplishments like her are a dime a dozen. Most hiring managers are able to suss out what’s real and what’s not, which is why the only employment she could find was being Richard’s bangmaid.

She calls herself CEO of her own one woman “company,” which would be the first major red flag for any real company hiring. She is CEO of me, myself and I. CEO implies a corporate structure and reporting to a board of directors, not you playing on you laptop at the coffee shop.

She also calls herself COO of a SA, when Lowtax just needed to fill the position of new pussy/ housekeeper.

Logan has the type of resume we used to pass around the office for laughs when filling copy writing and contract graphic designer positions. Yes, please send us a 25 year old with no experience or skills but a giant sense of self-importance and ego. Good times.

I’m curious why anyone would want to buy the site.
I get that he’s invested in the forum community as deluded as that is but the site itself doesn’t seem sustainable. Richard beat the life out of the golden goose.
You’re betting a lot on the site and presumably a SA Patreon being marketable after this. And that’s assuming Richard doesn’t stick you with any business debts or actually sells.
My prediction is that Richard rides this out to see if he can spin it and still profit, finds out he can’t so sells the site with the debts and the SA goes under in less than a year.

He's not buying the site because he wants to make a profit.

He's buying the site because he's a loser with no friends and Something Awful is the only thing resembling a social life he has. I don't think sustainability and whatnot was even part of the thought process.
