you have to get convicted, and not every state has laws about that. Which is ridiculous, since so many mass shooters have a history as domestic violence perpetrators.


Anyway, lowtax's story is that Logan is fine when she isn't drinking. Any person who was actually in this situation would get rid of the alcohol in their home or lock it up real tight. Unfortunately since lowtax is an alcoholic too, the whole game was rigged. She was in a house in a state where she has no friends and likely no means of transportation besides lowtax's car. He would start getting drunk and being his asshole self and then expect her not to drink anything. Then she would drink and he would berate her for it whenever it was convenient.

re: therapist sex assault. even if you don't believe logan's story about the therapist, it seems likely that she told lowtax that it happened, and then he proceeded to try and fuck her, the most immoral thing you could do to someone who confessed being taken advantage of sexually by a therapist. It is another vulnerability to exploit.

There is definitely a certain percentage of goons that have figured out that KF, and possibly the internet outside of SA, are not what they were told so they will venture bravely out into the wasteland on their own.

I don't remember the details super well, but maybe vaguely related to the time waffleimages and somethingawful worked together to doxx/ban sose (was it sass?) posters? I know waffleimages crossed the line into illegal/shady but I'm not sure about lowtax. Didn't they confirm the sose poster identities with cc info?
 
He fucking did it in this very thread. Tried to harvest IPs with some image he could match up to forum IPs or something. Wouldn't surprise me if he used an aimbot or cracked sprites back in the planetquake days.
 
Why would any of his exes defend him when they’ve all claimed he’s abusive and/or have called the cops and/or had to hide in a domestic violence shelter?
Even if they think Logan is lying, which despite being crazy I believe Rich slapped her around, there’s no benefit for them to get involved. One of them is actively in a legal fight with him already and this helps her case.
There’s not even a monetary benefit since child support can’t be discharge in bankruptcy.
 
Lowtax could probably have avoided or salvaged this if he just played it cool.

A. Obviously rehoming an insane BPD alkie is a mistake. But he basically could have a live in maid/sexslave if he went just a tiny bit out of his way to be nice to her instead of his POS self.

B. He admitted to laying hands on her, accident or not. Now its a debate, with his history. He loses now.

Dumbass. Couldn't have happened to a more deserving POS.

That's unlikely. Lowtax uses Authorize.net as a payment gateway. This is a Visa property that I have also used. Any transaction that Something Awful processes is not going to be stored on the server. It will be stored on Authorize.net. This information is usually the last four of your card, its expiry date, your billing address, etc. It is very easy to manually cross-check this information.

The last time we processed any information directly associated with the forum was back when the site was still the CWCki Forums and you could pay for T&H with PayPal. For the merchandise, that same information is stored with Authorize.net, but I have absolutely no way of knowing what t-shirts are going to what forum users. I prefer knowing as little as possible about users.

Lowtax will absolutely have the billing information of every single person who has ever bought an account on Something Awful. I don't know if Authorize.net has a limit in how long it keeps records.

My recollection is that in the early days, SA's payment system wasn't properly connected to the gateway and instead just saved everybody's payment info as plaintext. Every now and again some admin had to go through a file and plug everybody's information into the gateway, line by line, to make the charges.

This could all be wrong though.

Looking at these texts, Rich is threatening Logan. He is pretending to be nice, but he is reminding her that he has her nudes and if she gets out of line, he will leak him.

What a jackass.
 
Hi Logan, glad you're keeping up with the thread. Feel free to join the discussion anytime you like, we'll definitely hear what you have to say. It's been a bunch of pages since anyone called you a cokewhore, and most people here seem to hate Lowtax more than they dislike you :)
 
Logan should go ahead and dish all of the perverted shit Richard wanted done because you know he’s going to try to do it first to paint her as the messed up one.
