I'm just going to stay away from Afghanistan, Baltimore, Detroit, El Salvador, and Guatemala.They actually have a point with that one. If you took the 3 worst blocks for murder of a city like Denver you could say that parts of Denver have a higher murder rate than the total city of Baltimore. It's like comparing the high outliers of one graph to the average value of another.
But they have also directly admitted that your individual likelihood of being murdered if you live within Baltimore is higher than if you live in a less active part of Guatamala or Afghanistan.
