Add up the certified words. 11,571 for the initial brief, 5,722 for MoRonica 6,176 for Funimation, blank for Marchi. Her's is the longest at 37 pages and there are only 3531 words left. They're over, even if you exclude MoRonica's appeal.
I deleted the post you replied to before you clicked on "post" (but after you clicked on "reply", obvioulsy) because I realized that I wasn't getting what was talked about right and therefore people were already making better comments than mine; and now I read yours, I think I was even more wrong than I thought I was when deleting it...

EDIT: By the way, Marchi's is the one I checked, and, depending on what is part of the words count and what isn't, it's somewhere between 5000 and 6000, so over 3531 for sure.

They quote 38.3.

"The appellant may file a reply brief addressing any matter in the appellee’s brief. However, the appellate court may consider and decide the case
before a reply brief is filed."

The language is permissive. There is no deadline for it, and the appeals court is not required to wait for it and can decide the case immediately. Therefore, the case is at that point "fully briefed." The very definition of sur-reply is any reply filed after the case has been fully briefed. This is Wiktionary but every other definition I've seen is the same:

surreply (plural surreplies)

(law) An additional reply to a motion filed after the motion has already been fully briefed.

Would an appeals court decide a case before it was fully briefed? It would be an odd appeals court.

The appeals court can decide the case at any time after the response by the appellee. Therefore, upon the filing of that response, the case is "fully briefed" and therefore, anything filed after that is a sur-reply whether it is styled as such or not.

Stupid fucking people.

Let's not forget how quick they were to try to spin Chumpp's first hearing into "lol Vic lost everything and he owes MoRon a million dollars!" I'll read it over later or just get a tldr from you guys.

Also how they spun the horrible fees and sanctions hearing that was barely even about fees and sanction and more whining about Nick and other irrelevant things to that hearing.

Bull fucking shit. I have seen in three different threads of weebwars people talking about their take on the files.
And what trans person have we been hating on in these threads? Did they get distracted and end up in a different thread or something? Or did they just make shit up out of thin air? Yeah, probably that.

LawTwitter doesn't seem to realize that people on Kiwi Farms actually look at things, take them seriously, and try to discuss them with the amount of clarity and levelheadedness that a bunch of snarky jackasses on the Internet can do. The only times that have resulted in uproar when something pants on head stupid developed.

In fairness to him, he also said that any success is the team's, but any failure is on him, so at least he's willing to own this shit.
At the very least, Ty has shown he's a good captain you wanna fight for.

Models himself after someo f the military greats, like Eisenhower. In the military you'll never find troops who don't respect a higher-up who looks out for them (look at the USS Teddy Roosevelt's crew reaction when Captain Crozier was leaving the ship).

Lolwut.

Everyone in the lawsuit thread has been in some way critical of the less than stellar filings, especially since they had 2 months to complete them.

EDIT: speaking lawltwitter, I wonder what Geico Caveman thought of Geoffrey Rush winning his defamation lawsuit down in kangaroo land. Surely Captain Barbosa suing a newspaper for suggesting he was a sexual predator and pervert would be a lolsuit of Mignogna proportions, right?
