Maybe if the times werent as miserable as they are now, I might have given the game a look, but right now, Im all in silly nonsense in Borderlands 3 and Baki. Legit question, do you think if this wasnt such a bad year, the reception of the game would have been better?

NOOOOOOOO, in fact it'd probably be worse. A lot of people have been coooped up, and are likely to provide more leeway just because it breaks up the painful monotony.

Doubtful. Joel still would have been murdered, Abby still would have gotten away with all the horrible shit she did, and the game still would have ended with Ellie losing everything despite not actually following through on her revenge. People still would have been mad, especially since the latter two plot points are irredeemably horrible.
 
I don't know how long xQc's been playing, but it's less than a day, Druckmann fucking lied about the game being 30 hours.

Theres 10 more hours? How the fuck are there 10 more hours? Like you can timeskip to the point where Ellie is searching for Captured Abby and it wouldnt matter, we know everything important already.
