That Pokemon Snap teaser was sad as hell. Why couldn't SwSh look like that? It's just laid out bare all the missed opportunities in those botched games.

That sounds like 3 dlc packs to me, maybe 4 if they stretch it out.NewPokemon Snap has caught my eye. I'm not interested in a photography simulator, but graphically it's where pokemon's debut on the Switch ought to be if it came from a somewhat competent developer.
As for the Isle of Armor, dataminers have been quick to work with the new DLC, and have provided a list of all new 'mons, which are available to everybody in the new update, regardless of whether or not you bought the DLC:
They also provide a separate file for pokemon still not available in the game:![]()
So a bit of maths for anybody interested. Base SwSh had 400 / 890 pokemon available. This DLC adds 140.![]()
Added by gen: Gen 1 +42 | Gen 2 +14 | Gen 3 +7 | Gen 4 +10 | Gen 5 +29 | Gen 6 +9 | Gen 7 +24. Then plus 5 additional gen 8=140
#Still missing: Gen 1 -56 | Gen 2 -53| Gen 3 -87| Gen 4 +-59| Gen 5 -41| Gen 6 -30| Gen 7 -25. Total missing: 353
What I want to know is if the next DLC adds well over 100 like this one did, why not just do the final push and complete the dex? I get the real reason is to set the precedent going forward, but they'd be so close and it'd be such a PR win it's crazy.
I'm in the "No new galar forms, just giving you the alola forms" just cause I feel GF would be that lazy.
I just hope this means we are going back to "space out mainline gens so with spin offs so we don't need a big JRPG every year for a console release"The timing is suspicious because of all the bullshit we had to go through with SwSh and this is their "We're sorry, please come back to us" compromise, I bet.
A bigger and better Pokemon Snap sequel designed by a competent company that's not GF. Now this is the best news I've seen in a long time.
Hal is listed in the copy rights I think, lemmie check the trailer, they are listed under copyright but not as anything else so they might just be overseeing itThe original Snap wasn't made by GameFreak, either, it was HAL Laboratory, Pax Softnica, and some "Jack and Beans". So is HAL Laboratory still involved, or just Bandai-Namco?
A new Snap proves that 2020 is some sort of anomoly that will be erased in the new timeline.
Get hyped for kneu-you pikachu and Pokemon Dash 2Will the new timeline replace it with a new Colosseum sequel?
Get hyped for kneu-you pikachu
Pokémon Puzzle League was rather ambitious for its time and was unique in that it was never released in Japan.
This should've happened when the Wii U was relevant
yes, its only on isle of armor though.Yet to verify it myself, but I've heard from friends that you can unlock Pokemon following you in the isle of Armor.

I've also taken a look at the new moves. Not... all of them are great, but some do have hilarious implications.
Like Poltergeist, which has a ghost possess the opponent's held item to attack, fails if there is none. Imagining someone's choice scarf strangling them to death is darkly hilarious.
Unless it has the Sunlight instant blast..no it isn'tIt's a step above solarbeam, at least,
