This was expected, no way Sony let's this thing crash and burn, they will pay every cent to make sure the general audience has this perspective of the game being a masterpiece. Then actual human beings will play it and realize it's the shits.

What a fucking mess of a world we live in, to people being offended by games like Manhunt or old school GTA to now praise triple that violence in Last of Us part II just because we play as women brutalizing everything they see.

Most reviews are really glowing with praise (kinda reminds me of Wolfenstein Youngblood). Though after seeing the video that was posted here it really seems as if the leaks had at least a portion of truth. I guess TLOU2 might become good meme material.

I think we might have underestimated Druckmann. The Last of Us Part II will revolutionize and change the zombie apocalypse genre; by turning it from soap opera for hipsters into straight up Latin American telenovela.

There was Hatred, but to the devs credit they weren't nearly as nauseatingly fart huffing about it.
 
At that point, I just want the Hotline Miami cast to cut a bloody path across TLoU2. Let them kill every human in increasingly messy ways.

Part of me unironically wants the writing of Goodbye Volcano High to turn out to be legitimately better than this shit.
