It's Seattle and I'd assume every fucking loser there is either on heroin or withdrawing from it. Narcan also isn't magic. It's fucked up. You can OD on heroin, get Narcan, but the Narcan wears off faster than the heroin so it can wear off in time for you to OD again without even taking more. So people treated with that have to be babysat for a while. Or sometimes it doesn't even work, or you need another dose, etc. It's not something to rely on in the middle of a riot.

Man, this entire situation has been turbofaggery all around:

  • Rioters/Protesters demand police leave.
  • Local politicians decide to remove police presence, leaving residents to the wolves.
  • Rioters start harassing and extorting residents and local businesses.
  • Their """"Autonomous"""" zone falls apart in a couple of days anyway.
  • Rioters achieve nothing, except inconveniencing Residents and Businesses
  • Local politicians act like nothing bad happened.
  • Residents continue to "support the movement" despite being fucked over by it.
Unbelievable, but I guess that is Seattle for you.

Sooo.... Here are some posts from a residence that is now in "The CHAZ" (I'm assuming named after famed disgusting tranny idol Chaz Bono). Here's a fun look into some leftist mental gymnastics:
